That doesn’t look like it handles like a twelve foot boat. I could be happy going smaller especially now that I’m older and not enjoying the maintenance so much. Looks just about right to me. Have fun!
Hopefully you are still sailing your SCAMP around. I live on West Coast of Australia where a normal day is 15-20 knots. Do you think the SCAMP could be built with a shorter mast and smaller sail?

Hey ,no problem .I am putting in a Honda 5.5 stationary inboard in the boat with a U-joint and drop shaft on the outside so was interested in your set up.Wasnt sure how much angle I counld get away with through the U-joint.Developing project and looking through your other vids thanks.No duck boats with long shaft here in New Zealand !
