She does know that people don't serve long sentences unless there is a conviction of a serious crime (eg., murder, violent assault/battery, killing of law enforcement officers, etc.), or a significant history of convictions of felonies, right? No one says, "This guy's Black or Hispanic, so we sentence him to 20 years, while this other guy who's White and committed the same crime should get 10." Unless she has DIRECT evidence that there exists a difference in sentencing for the same crimes but difference in race, she has NOTHING. A statistical argument is a weak case when it comes to crimes, because crimes are (supposed to be) uncommon; the SPECIFICS of any given case not only matter, they're crucial! If 9 murders are committed,, with all 9 accused are each judged guilty by a jury of peers, and sentencing guidelines say they should serve 20 years, that should be given, period, regardless the race, sex, religion, creed, or anything not directly pertinent to the cases. Our justice system is supposed to be blind. If there is evidence of judicial bias or prejudice, that is a SERIOUS thing. But serious claims require serious evidence & proof. There are, today, many suggestions and claims of "systemic racism", but no one ever brings out actual evidence of it, let alone prove it.

Purchased a sofa 1 year ago..loved it!! But it is already breaking down..they call it normal wear and tear! I call it BS!!! They say " out of courtesy, we will replace the foam in the bottom cushion and if I wanted to spruce up the back cushion I could steam it.. over $2,000.00 sofa, it's a Rowe...I am beyond disappointed.
