The fact that Johnny was originally butt-a** naked when Meryl knocked him out and stole his uniform is a little weird.

You gotta understand, back in 1998 we had never seen anything even remotely like this. They pushed the PlayStation to the absolute brink of its capabilities that they nearly broke the damn thing. It was an immersive experience, especially for young gamers, that this, actually, had a story! And a very good one too. Also need to point out this still has one of the best soundtracks ever in any medium.

At the time this game came out I had never beaten a game that was thing long…. I don’t really remember maybe some of you do, but I think if you played it through efficiently it was around four-six hours…..? I liked the second one on the oil rigs too…. Game really was incredible and gnarly/violent at times… Like a movie. Never got into the later ones…. “Hu, ……. What was that noise????” “Whose footrprints are these?” 😂

This fight was unbearable on GameCube. The colors for actually heat vision are rough to look at. Monochrome was a solid choice

Back in middleschool I once waited for my mom to pick me up , watched this kid walk around with 20$ literally hanging out of his back pocket and i feel like I somehow willed it to fall out, i stood there for a solid 15 minutes waiting for someone to notice then walked over it standing ontop of it. Point being I rented MGS got a Pizza and a 2 Liter and had the best friday ever. I'm kinda sorry I took the money but if I ever lose 20$ out of my back pocket someone else please rent/buy a game as awesome as MGS for the PSX :D
