Beautiful boat and very practicle for a 40'er. However, get rid of the cameraman, he didn't follow your speaking and even when you would point out an interesting fact...he went anywhere else he pleased. Didn't seem familier with nautical terns in the least. Show the boat in it's best light you can....It deserves it.
Performance and GPH? Ranges at different speeds. Fuel capacity. Stabilizers or not? Etc etc etc. Electronics for navigation and depth. AC for comfort. Boy stuff. Captain Stuff. That always the first thing I want to know and the deciding factor. Every time. For all the bottom-line Captains. Performance and navigation. The wood and ovens and staterooms all come after that! Got it? Thank you. Very well done presentation except for the above-mentioned comment. Beautiful vessel. Thanks again,
One question I have is that there seems to be a lot to do on a ship like that. Cleaning, stocking and maintaining then when on board cooking cleaning and watching over everything. We have a motor home and with gusests it is a lot of work! That ship is 5 times as much so when do you as the owner get to enjoy the cruising?
Everything beautiful except the lack of refrigerator space. It needs another Dometic chest type refrigerator below main deck or somewhere. That is too limited.
I have watched & enjoyed this presentation before. I very much like the Grand Banks boat/Yacht. And this presentation was more genteel & subdued than others & I very much enjoyed that.
Beautiful boat, great video. My only problem is calling it a "long range cruiser ". I've seen plenty of other craft of that length going 3000 miles. Just saying. Other than that job well done.
A very beautiful boat/Yacht. I would like to have one similar to this one, as I had a 27' Owens years ago but I am almost sure that I couldn't afford it without selling my house and I am not prepared to do that just yet. But thank you for the tour.
There’s nothing on the boat that isn’t required. Grand Banks boats are popular for a very good reason, they are not just functional but dependable too. The quality of the woodwork is excellent and the use of teak is done to great effect. It would be a joy to spend a day or longer on this fine boat, what more could you possibly ask for? Maybe another Gin & Tonic.
Diesel engines don't have throttles ... so the phrase Wide-Open-Throttle (WOT) does not apply to them. The phrase WOT only applies to gasolene engines. MAN doe not make gasolene engines for marine applications, only diesel ones
As always Grand Banks show why they are so popular, their quality throughout is a testament to being both practical and dependable. There’s nothing added that isn’t needed, the moving of the engines is a good move and the space it frees up is a great way of utilising what you have. A great boat and it will no doubt make its new owners very proud.
Grand Banks does make stunningly beautiful yachts. I love the silvery blue hull. The interior is just pure class. Yes, they are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. These will turn heads in any marina, and no guest will be disappointed at the interior. For coastal cruising they are the cat's meow. Nice presentation as well.
