i also realized this song reminds me of another anime theme song “somebody save me” I think it was from Ergo Proxy maybe. Totally different song but still reminded me of it somehow.
i saw that the song was written and orchestrated by some Japanese writers/musicians specifically for the show, and I love it. But at first, upon initially hearing it, I totally had thought that it was like, a late 1990’s “post-grunge” song that I had never heard before. I really got that vibe from it. But it was not! Excellent work.
Takashi was too immature and naive to build that hybrid world Major knew there will be no advancement in that N world bc human will not work hard if they dont have motivation. a key giveaway is what she says in the end with Bateau that there will be more world in the future even reach beyond the earth meaning its their world not N world as those assumption can only be made in their world
Yeah, this is something touched upon in the film _The Matrix,_ that a utopia isn't actually good for the human mind. Makes sense that that film was directly inspired by GitS.
