This is sad. Dokken was one of my favorites. I can relate to Don. I used to play shows up until about 10 years ago but I got to where it was killing me during and days after the show just to feel human again. I really miss the stage but I know that my body just wont let me do it. I'm even getting to where I have a hard time just sitting around and playing because my arthritis is so painful. Its really depressing at times to the point where I consider selling all of my guitars and just forgetting that part of my life ever existed but I just cant let go. I know I'll never do shows again but music is what keeps me sane(ish). Once I cant make some kind of noise that will make a rhythm I may as well be gone. So I completely understand why he keeps trying.
Awesome Video,Song and Concert.I saw Them in Bethel,Ny On July 24th ,24.I have videos on my youtube channel from the concert too.I also have Videos from Alot of other Concerts that I went to see as well. I Subscribed To your Channel.
Your welcome! My first time seeing REO Speedwagon and I gotta be honest....they were amazing! Great energy! Excellent performance! Thought they blew away Train the Headliner.
My favorite song of theirs and it just pains me to hear him so far off . I understand he’s older but why keep doing this??? Let us remember you as you were and not like this. Please……
It is not just that his voice isn't the same...he seems to lack energy on the stage too. Like he doesn't even want to be there. Absolutely, no fire or drive...I get that he is much older but this is not a show I want to pay to see.
saw them in the mid 90s in Cincinnati in a small club, orginal lineup and and sounded great. This is just not good. Don has to know he doesn't sound good.
It's sad what illness, age and just life in general can do to a person. Once upon a time Don Dokken could really sing and play the guitar very well, but you'd never know it from watching this video. It's time to call it quits Don.
