I had a friend who was a survivor of the Desisto School, circa 1988-1990. Unfortunately, she died Oct. 2023. I am a legal guardian to her daughter and would live to connect with anyone who may know her. I know her as Joy, but she went by Jennifer Joy Smith while at Desisto.
I was in a wwasp program. Wasn't fun but was fortunate I stayed in the states and I went with less than a year to 18, I can't fathom being like 14 in one of these places knowing you need to finish or spend 4 years here. I'd love to see someone go sleepers in mine craft on those who operate these places
Hi Ashley, I want to. There are two more episodes written and treatments for another 16 episodes. I just don't have the money. This one took me over four months to make. I'm hoping to get some money together and make another episode by the end of the year. I had almost enough to make the next one but couldn't get the actors I wanted for the voices. A lot of people I asked didn't even reply because I simply can't pay them enough. I haven't given up on it and hopefully another one soon. Thanks for your support!

Hi I went to DeSisto at Howey in 1983-1985. Horrible place! Michael DeSisto was an insane, sadistic, cult leader who if was alive today would find himself slapped with a class action lawsuit, if not jailed for abuse!

That's why I do my own trips on my own time I bring the car a good car rental with all the friends and we feel it up with food and water and everything we want to eat, learn to do your own trips is better. Learn your lesson😢
