Lovely post. Its extremely nice to see how you are exploring the different places and meet people of other cultures too ( those native kids) I remember pirai fish by the name because my parents used to talk about it when we were kids in Guyana and used to be in the farm. Yes, you can eat it. I heard that they can actually bite off your fingers due to their claw like teeth. The resort is really beautiful, it's clean and nice. I was born at Suddie Hospital, but I don't know the place well. I do remember that we used to walk by the Suddie beach to reach by my Aunty's house in Johanna Cecelia ( J.C). Beautiful! A very nice tour. It is a nice boat ride. It's always good to see Wakenaam Island. Hogg Island is larger, but Wakenaam is more populated of all of the Essequibo Islands. The village where the boat landed is Supernaam, then as you drive, each district has a different village name. I haven't gone on that boat as yet. Yes, Essequibo is known as the Cinderella county.
