Latvia 2024 was one of the times were i just casually screamed for no reason after he qualified, i dont think any of us saw that coming lol 15%, FIFTEEN PERCENT, and he still qualified, and im so happy he did because i have been loving the songs latvia have been sending and i was scared that latvia might leave eurovision because of the amount of times they Nq'd Edit: also finally someone else who doesnt understand why la noia is so liked, its an okay song ig but why did people call it winne for so long
Hopefully once the war in Gaza comes to a conclusion, Jordan and Egypt which both recognise Israel should be able to actually join Eurovision as their both members of the EBU, as their would be no issues between countries on existence like Lebanon suffered in 2005. Would love to see Amman host the competition!
Cam you explaim what the Israeli delegation did? Because I see everywhere people complain about them for doing bad things but I never saw an example for what they did... All I saw is how other artists where disrespectful to Edem for example in the press conference.
They were recording people without permission and generally making fun of everyone (there are videos) But other delegations were clowning as well, it was one big kindergarden

I only really started paying attention to every singer, not just winners, after 2021, so this really helped me find great singers to add to my playlists
9:38 Heard this song in quite a few edits, had no clue it was from Eurovision! That's already a sign that it was very good and underrated for it's time
I agree with this list a lot more, I just think it's funny that I have the complete opposite opinion on "No Rules!" I think Teemu adds a Weird Al'esque charm that makes the song stand out from the typical goofy ahh entries we might get, like the prior one "give that wolf a banana." Henri's voice on the other hand is too falsetto and brings down the vibe for me.
So many mid songs (Always on the Run, Ramonda, Luktelk) above the iconic La Noia? This is why I'm happy there are actual experienced musicians in the jury instead of just the general public deciding things.
i think norway could have been last place also because of the reverse recap shown. so it hurts the songs in the middle the most since people will remember the first and last songs. and norway was right in the center alongside the uk (maybe also why they got 0 televote points) i know ulveham kinda fell into what blood and glitter did last year in which it tried to be folk and metal while also being accessible, and in the end it just didn't appeal to a lot of people. metal fans found it too tame and the casual viewers found it too out there. but i still love norway and gåte makes great music so even if it's more sanitized in comparison to other metal bands i listen to they will still be my favorite no matter what. (even if keiino would have given norway a better result i'm glad the norwegian public pushed gåte through and keiino should have been sent in 2021 anyway) and yes i still think about the robbery that was denmark 2021

Azerbaijan - just a fun performance, gotta love. Belgium - this righteously ives rent-free in so many people’s heads. Croatia - goofy-ahh song and it’s great. Cyprus - those OOOOOOOOOOs are amazing! Czechia - LOVE the staging! Denmark - super sweet song. Estonia - godly vocals. Finland - it’s crazy, it’s party. France - is there ANYTHING more French than this? Also, the beat drops slap. Georgia - more pretty sick vocals. Germany - love the beat drops, underrated song. Greece - dude is spitting happy energy and it’s so sweet. Iceland - more powerful vocals! Ireland - fun song all around. Israel - epic bop! Italy - this is such a beautiful songgg! Latvia - magical performance. Lithuania - gorgeous performance especially with the audience’s participation. If you were a Greek you would have seen what the dancers told about Thrace and you would be very disappointed. Then, I could say that the song is cute when someone doesn't speak Greek... This song had no meaning in our language.
