Whether you've been a gamer all your life, or you're just starting out - always remember to play with each other, and play with yourself
Very good. Top Gear in deed. Two side notes: First, the DLC for Colonial Marines was pretty good. The opening chapters to the core game are very bad. Almost unplayable. But the story was good, and the DLC showed you what it could have been. Its dated now, but an avid fan, might still think it a good deal at today's prices, or in a sale. Also, if you love Alien. be aware its part of the options to play as in the one line game Dead By Daylight.
Yeah I talk briefly about the Colonial Marines DLC in my video on that :) Been meaning to check out dead by daylight alien dlc. Haven't covered it since I first started the channel
@@DudiReviews Probably irrelevant to you now, but Alien fans might be interested to see these old 1980's games: This one in particular shares much with Alien Isolation's premise: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A6NVttxy_nI.html Aliens,, also got a game: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H_2E2BQiwHI.html
@@DudiReviews I coincidently have a friend plays DbD too much. This is link to a game with the Alien in: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-at1uT-2bFYE.html (Not commercial, etc.) Again, may be of interest to passing Alien fans who don't know of it .
Dude!!! I love your channel, videos and reviews, I've played this 3 times also (including beating ultra) however I have a petty pet peeve and other people have said it wrong to here goes....They are called Working Joes, not Average Joes!!! 😂😂😂 lol, keep up the good work bud, shout out from Edinburgh, Scotland 🖖👍🙌
The first Aliens game I ever played was Aliens on the Spectrum, the one that the disk drive, fond memories of my dad completing it, then we would watch the movies n he made shandys for me and my bro lol, later on was alien ttilogy on ps1 etc :)
Barring some of the plot holes, bugs with the visuals, which were patched, the support A.I. and the enemies, it was an okay title and provided an interesting spin on the plot that could have fit into the canon between the first four films. As a total package with DLCs and the patches, It's not a bad FPS that has the benefit of co-op, but is a real let down in terms of what it was looking to promise and deliver as a tribute to the Alien's franchise.
I finally game this game another shot start to finish as I’d tried a few times before and didn’t get half way through. Having now finished it in two sitting and being a massive fan of the first 3 films, I think it is such a slog to get through. A lot of artificial padding, the game could be half as long as be just as if not more effective. Sound design and atmosphere are fantastic I must say
This is awesome. Took a ton of gameplay from legendary games and made it awesome. made an incredible tier system yet to be replicated. And cool lotr fan story interpretations that’s were just dope
Worst thing about this game I can remember now (haven't tried it since and won't ever LOL) was the fact that on the hardest level you could literally run past Aliens and they would completely forget about you and bug out. Then there was the fact that it was a 10 mission game with little imagination.. 3 missions vs Aliens, 3 missions vs humans and 3 missions vs Aliens and humans and finally the worst possible boss ending mission in human history. Also another thing I remembered just now.. I was so stocked about the potential of the game because I'm a huge Alien fan that I pre-ordered it at the time... (puke)
One big thing that immediately stuck out to me is how good the skill tree is. Basically every single skill is fun and useful. Way too many games have boring skill trees that exclusively consist of stat increases, like "+5% fire defense" or something similar.
I still play this classic on my steam deck. First got it on launch week for my modded Xbox 360. This game was so bad, it was good. Multiplayer was also fun.
It still amazes me that it was Creative Assembly behind this, a dev that never created anything like it before. One could even argue it remains their best creation to date.
@@DudiReviews you have my loyalty king, is the game worth buying 70$ or wait for price drop. Haven’t finished the vid yet, your talk about helmets right now
@@rama-n-i hope you enjoy it dude and don't worry there's plenty of footage of me binning it into a wall haha. Going to do a F1 career let's play series just for some quick fun
Fabulous game. In fact the game that got me into retro gaming again because the nostalgia of playing something that got the juices going again, gave me a love of gaming once more. Still the best. And of course f**k IGN 😂 wonderful 🤙
i cant found myself finish this game. I'm at ACT 3, its just repeat and repeat, take down fortress and defend. If lost then need to take it back again, recruit and recruit... level up level up level up...I found it extremely boring and dont want to continue anymore.
If you are a fan of F1, why not try Assetto Corsa and install all the fabulous mods that allow you to recreate (nearly) every F1 season from the 50s until today with original cars and tracks? Many of the mods are free too.
Similar to Ridley Scott disowning the Director's Cut of Alien, IGN really should disown their review. If anything, have someone else do another review of this. They're entitled to their opinion, but man oh man, they probably still regret their score.
Pretty sure i saw a video of Lando Norris saying that F1 cars are a lot easier to drive than the F1 games portray them yet we have armchair, esports wannabe try hards telling us the handling is too easy 😂
First 20 min into the game i was like jap,the handling is shit as creators mentioned. After a hour and getting used to it,i was like shit this is better than f1 23. 3hours later and im loving it. Career feels fresh and graphics/lighting look slightly better. I dont get the hate, perhaps because its EA which is reason enough, but im enjoying the game and wil be grinding career for some time
Te handling and grip level is a lot better imo…. I could care less about the small objectives like cool engine down or not use the ers for a whole lap. But I get it tho. It’s something new I guess
