What crappy video. What makes this "traditional"? and angle grinder and a belt sander??? lol!! "rustic workshop?? it looks like a freaking garage! You could have actually find a family that has been making knives for generations that showcases this art in a much better way. Not because you used Spanish guitar music, makes it traditional. lol.
Attacks happen for a number of reason's. I personally think some are down to territorial aggression, some are mistaken identity and others are purely feeding attacks.
I’m so tired of hearing about shark attacks everywhere including where I live in California! I’m also tired of hearing people say shark attacks are not common. It seems to be they are more common than we think.
Not common would be 1 shark attack every several years. Fact, there are multiple shark attacks around the world every year. That's common. You know what would be real uncommon, No shark attacks in a year.
Why don't human animals just stay out of shark territory instead of trying to deter them? Why does EVERYTHING on the planet have to make way for us? 💔 The greed and lack of respect of human animals disgusts me.
Ok, watching this guy with a huge fish is one of the reasons these Sharks are coming so close to shore.. I did the Scuba thing in Mexico back 2006 - I Checked that off my bucket list!
Just last night I watched the video of the young guy in the Red sea that got eaten. The shark went right in and took a bite out of the guys neck near his face after he called to his father for the last time. He totally did it on purpose. I guess that type of bite isn't so rare anymore.
There was a post already there that I had a hook for hanging a hose on. Been looking at these for years and now I'm kicking myself for not making the switch sooner!
There used to be a lot of abalone in northern California waters, (in the "red triangle!") sea urchins and mussels that are also edible, and there were several humans killed by sharks while harvesting marine life for the table. When you pull a marine animal off of rocks or the sea floor, they can emit odors in the water that can draw sharks in, to eat the food they smell in the water. And if it is YOU that they see, that's fair game for them, after all, when you go into the ocean, you enter the shark's kitchen! With global warming, slight increase in ocean temps happens and fish come into shallower waters and what is right behind them are larger fish that eat them, including sharks! And with the human population continuing to explode, there are many more people going to the ocean to cool down and enjoy water sports today; they seem to forget that there ARE some very dangerous marine life out in those waters right along with the humans! Sharks are opportunistic feeders, which means that they will TRY TO EAT anything that they see that might or may not be food that they want. E.g., some studies have hinted that among the "big 3" sharks that are dangerous to humans, the great white, tiger and bull shark, and occasionally, oceanic sharks, white-tip and black-tip sharks have preyed on humans in the past, but not as much as the large sharks. It is thought that great white sharks may not like the taste of humans as they often charge up from below, grab what looks like food, shake their head so their sharp serrated teeth can tear off a piece, then they back off while the animal bleeds out, so that it cannot hurt them when they go in to eat it. But a bite like that, can take an arm or foot off or a human head if the shark is large enough, and often legs are bit because they are hanging in the water off of surf boards or the swimmer is grabbed from behind by the shark. If the large femoral artery in the thigh is severed, blood won't clot in water and it just pumps out and the victim has little chance of getting to shore and it can be too late -- they've lost too much blood and they will bleed out and die, either there on the shore or in the hospital, IF they make it there, where blood transfusions may save them if it's soon enough. The intent of this information is to help people be more wary and avoid shark attacks: How? Do not go into the ocean early mornings and late afternoon/early evening when the sharks are actively feeding. Don't wear shiny jewelry or belt buckles that catch the light and flash, that the shark may mistake for the scales of a fish. Get OUT of the water if you see a school of fish around you because sharks won't be far behind. And don't splash around on the surface looking like a wounded animal, (seal or sea lion, the shark's favorite prey) which attracts sharks!
Truely horrifying I never go in the ocean because of this horrifying reason sharks are simply blood thirsty killers and will kill and eat anything in their path.
Not completely rare …sharks attack people & yes eat them at times as well ..don’t let the conservationists BS you it’s not always on purpose but its not always a case of mistaken identity as the like to say. Stay the Hell out of the Ocean especially if your plan is to go hunt for prey ..where they are the Hunter always and you can end up the prey .
This shark attack was obviously territorial. The poor man wasn’t consumed at all. Just bitten as a warning to not hunt in that shark’s territory. Sharks know exactly what we are even in brackish waters, their Ampullae di Lorenzini pick up electrical signals and their sense of smell lets them know we’re not fatty, furry seals. If a shark doesn’t try to eat you, it’s usually a territorial attack. If the shark eats you, it was really hungry and willing to eat a lot of lean protein when it prefers fatty blubber.
GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!! HOW IN HELL DO SHARKS NO ANYTHING ABOUT COTTON CANDY!!!! BIO TOLD THEM THEY SHOULD PAINT WHITE STRIPES ON THE DIVERS WET SUITS!
I don't get it , if it's so dangerous in the mentioned waters while these fishermen don't work at least with harpoons or other effective defend weapons or at least as a pair: One watches with a harpoon or similar weapon his partners diving work.... you can minimize your risk !
These settlers are far worse than common thieves. To be able to steal as they do, these settlers murder, kidnap, imprison and torture. These settlers lie to the world about the horrific crimes they are committing. They gaslight us by attempting to convince us that the crimes they commit are not really crimes. Then, they have the arrogance to declare that they are the “chosen people,” the most moral people, while claiming that the indigenous people, whom they have been victimizing for 75 years, are victimizing them. We will not be fooled.
The only fact you need to remember. Sharks attack anything depending on how hungry they are. If you're in more than 3 or 4 feet of water, you could become lunch.
Honestly the garmin instinct series is the best at its purpose. Survival. In 2024, the instinct 2x is the best option. For online, “city life” watches, the Apple Watch is still the go too
