Saw you subsccribed to my channel. I went to your page and saw the AGO-Army video. I can't believe I'm the only "Like." Good Times. Can't believe it was30 years ago.
I remember when Maloney came up to the Reds. As hard a thrower as there was in the game; took a couple years to get his control, but by 1963 he was a good as anyone, including Koufax, Marichal, and Gibson. The 'unofficial' no-hitter against the Mets in 1965 was his finest day; no hits through the first 10 innings and I believe 17 strikeouts before getting beaten in the 11th inning, 1-0. Hurt his arm in the late 60's and I believe was gone after the 1970 season, but old-timers like me remember him well.
