Why do they remove the knobs on the shaft? They really help if you have to rake it across the hand (in self defense) of some young punk that grabs the old man to steal whatever money he has.
Some of this Video was filmed at Coopers. Sadly the factory no longer exists as it was taken over by accountants who thought it better not to make sticks but just to buy and sell
@@johnboogaerts8445 Coopers factory used to be in Wormley Surrey but closed in 1996 when it was bought out by a company in birmingham, but the Stick making continued on the same site as Coopers by "BW Sticks" ( owned by the narrator of this video - Bob Wheeler) Sadly Bob died a few weeks ago, In Jan 2020 :-(
what a nice touch. would be grand to see a more concise video of each of your stick types being made from cut to finish. but very nice this is all the same.
