Thank you. I just opened the bible and this verse was the one I saw. I was very surprised to read that. I'm 53 and my daughter is grown and out of the house but the kids these days are out of control. My daughter was prob the last generation who played outside all day. So sad the way these kids are being robbed of a real childhood by tech.
No, you can't throw out the Old Testament! When you throw out the 10 commandments, then we can talk about that idea. Birth control is not eating your children. Eating your child today, tomorrow, yesterday, or anytime in history would it be ok. You are lost my guy! I wish I could talk to you with a moderator, to point out how unreasonable your thinking is.
They boil a baby and eat it, then the other lady doesn't want to do it. Yes people were starving, but they doesn't mean we should eat our children. you are demented for trying to make this acceptable in anyway possible
Amen and Amen. I love this understanding, I was searching to understand this scripture but no one gave me a truly understanding but Thanks be to the holy Spirit who lead me here. Thank you Jesus Christ.
By the way, one of the reasons why the rapture doctrine wasn’t common for most of church history is simply because the Roman church suppresses it starting very early, so where ever you see a drought of this knowledge, it’s usually in places and time where they had/have control. But the doctrine continued to be suppressed after the Schism and then Reformation, which explains why it only flourished after religious liberty flowered in America. And Gabriel told Daniel the rapture could not be understood until the last days, and Paul said it was a mystery, so anyone who claims it's false because it's hidden in scriptures contradicts these facts. And here is a partial list of religious organizations that reject the rapture rescue: Catholic Church, and Jesuits Eastern Orthodox Church Talmudic Judaism Mormonism Jehovah’s Witnesses Seventh Day Adventists Unification Church Hebrew Roots (Judaizers) TBN founder (Paul Crouch) 700 Club founder (Pat Robertson) PTL founder (Jim Baker) Islam
The conspiracy theory that Darby got his pre-trib rapture teaching from a Jesuit book and demon-possessed Scottish girl was invented in the 1970s by a news reporter, but his research was so poor that he couldn’t even see the pre-trib rapture in an ancient sermon containing the following quote: “All the saints and elect of God are gathered together before the tribulation, which is to come, and are taken to the Lord, in order that they may not see at any time the confusion which overwhelms the world because of our sins.” - Pseudo-Ephraim Circa 400 AD And the Jesuits and demoniac girl could not have been Darby’s sources because both taught a post-trib rapture. The reporter’s claims about Dispensational was formally debunked by a real historian in a recent book titled “Dispensationalism Before Darby,” and you can see some of his evidence in videos on RU-vid. Just search for the name William C Watson.
My sister-in-laws mother's husband shot himself in the head. She and I cleaned up so that her mother wouldn't have to. That was difficult and Bill was a quiet, calm, sweet man. He simply become overwhelmed and had no coping skills. My brother-in-law from my first marriage hung himself several years ago. Family found him unresponsive. I have questioned myself repeatedly as to why Steve didn't come to me, why he didn't confide in me the depth of his desperation, why he didn't reach out to me. We were close, very close. He came to Greg and I's wedding. We visited often. I will never feel over the tremendous loss of a beautiful man that I loved thoroughly. People who resort to suicide are overwhelmed, lost, hopeless, and confused. They are unable to reason and rationalize through their difficulties. My son has been on suicide watch more than once. The last time I called the police because I feared I could not get to him fast enough. They responded, he did not appreciate it. I told him his life was more valuable than the time spent in the ER and the resulting medical bills. My son is alive today. Endeavoring to provide comfort is in no way an advocation of, the approval of, or the acceptance of suicide. Only a small mind would consider it so. Increasingly people lack compassion, empathy, and mercy. Fortunately, there remains a remnant who comprehend and share grace, love, and the embracing of one another.
