Hey man, first of all, i'm a long time listener and enjoyer of your music, even bought your album 'trees' for my wifes birthday (she still plays it to calm herself before sleeping) so i can say that i truly enjoy your craft. in my perspective, you shouldnt be running after an exterior motive like youtube algorthym or anything else for that matter. what matters is you still put yourself out there, and your music will reach the right places. im certain of it. sure , i know it's a struggle to want your work to succeed, the need of paying bills and feeling the pressure , and feeling despair when it doesn't breakthrough , or doesnt meet your expectations. but im sure your music and talent will eventually shine through. at least for me it has . and when something is done truly , and with passion, eventually it succeeds.so all i can add is, rest assured my dear friend, you are loved and hold a place in peoples minds and hearts, even though sometimes it all seems futile. peace on brother keep rocking
thanks so much for caring enough to give me that kind of support :) I am really grateful people like you find value on my songs, I guarantee you I am completely honest when making music and I am not trying to write music to “please” the algorithm or anything, I actually make music I like, I don’t even think I actually make music for my “fans”, I make music that I actually would like other artists to make, music that I would enjoy, so that is why it is so beautiful to see other people like you and your wife enjoying it :) So, I totally agree with you, but the point I wanted to share in the description of this video was that even though I love making art and people love making art, There is still this little human egoistic feeling that you want atention from others, you want people to validate your art and tell you your art is good, so no mather how much one loves doing art I still have this little voice in my head that tells me I need to get attention. thanks a lot for caring :) btw: knowing your wife got my album trees as a birthday gift is honestly one of the moat amazings things someone has ever told me, you really made my life a little bit better!!!!
I feel like always thinking about how the RU-vid algorithm works... I mean, I don't know, man. Even if you figure it out, you would just end up making music for the algorithm, not for yourself or your listeners, which would be kind of a drag, don't you think? What I like about music is that you can feel what the person who made it is like. You can't really put it into words, but you can feel it. It's like their music is a part of their personality effortlessly, like it's just connected. And I feel like you are one of those people whose music is a part of their personality effortlessly.
hey dude i am very grafetful for your comment and believe I totally agree, I am always trying to make music I personally like and I really feel proud of hearing my songs and feeling how that song does mean something to me besides whatever money or attention I am getting out of it. But sadly there is always this little human ego somewhere in my head who also likes atenttion and who also understands that you need money to live. So I would lie to you if I told you that my music is 100% free of this need to get money and atention, but I think everyone has this human problem and that’s why I think you gotta be honest about it but at the same time try to not let it override your love for music and being honest. So don’t worry, I am just trying to be honest about this and trying to be a bit funny about it. But at least 90% of my songs is me being myself :)

i will never stop :D I didnt upload much jam sessions because the past 2 years I have not practiced much guitar live playing, but since last month I started practicing scales and jaming again so I hope to upload more jams as I get comfortable again with jaming!
