The Pharmacogenomics Knowledgebase (PharmGKB) collects, curates and disseminates knowledge about the impact of human genetic variation on drug response (pharmacogenomics).
Please note that PharmGKB is a research organization and, as such, is unable to offer clinical advice.
For help, please open an issue at github.com/PharmGKB/PharmCAT. You will also need to provide more information. For example, version of python are you using?
Hello Thank you for the tutorial. But The pharmcat-2.8.2-all.jar file does not exist github anymore. Is there any alternative to this part of the pipeline? has something changed in Pharmact pipeline? I really appreciate if you can guide me on this matter.
All releases are available on GitHub. Make sure you click on the "Releases" link instead of a specific version. Here's a direct link to 2.8.2: github.com/PharmGKB/PharmCAT/releases/tag/v2.8.2
Thank you so much for this awesome video. Started taking clomipramine 3 days ago and developed serotonin syndrome and bunch of unpleasant side effects. My psychiatrist gave me the normal starting dose of 25 mg/day but I feel like I’m dying. This explains a lot

Even with cyp2d6 inhibitors like fluoxetine codeine still has some effect even if its mainly from codeine 6 glucoranide as opposed to morphine but obviously its relative potency is reduced relative to extensive and ultrarapid metabolisers.
These are amazing free resources. Such a wealth of information. Thank you for standardizing and maintaining those data displays with consistent harmonized structure.
please I need helpe i'm reading some articles concerning CYP2D6 and i found that in some cases when genotyping CYP2D6 some persons have sevral diplotype in CYP2D6 and I don't understand the process and can that exist ? for exp i find a person with this genotype ( *1/*1 - *1XN/*5 ) and I didn't understand I should considred him as an Extensive Metaboliser or Ultra rapid ?? and why he gote 2 genotype ?? the first is for the maternal chromosome and the second for the paternal chromosome ..??? please I need an answer.. thank's
Kerry Robinson, the prisoner mentioned in this talk was freed the day after this conference. He had spent 17 years in prison. He was freed by math and DNA.
Thank you for approaching complex issues so simply, concisely and with gentle humor. You poke holes in beliefs and allow light to flow. Lovely. You have helped me understand more clearly what to explore in what we are putting in place here in our Nature-based educational approach here at Another Way School for children - Native and nonnative.
Fantastic talk that covers a lot of ground and lives up to its title. Even ends with a question on #MeTooSTEM and the advice to NIH to make harassers ineligible for training grants (a no-brainer).
This technique is very awrsum scientific break thought but i have a lot of question and ethical problem with it because if its going to be authorized to human application companies which will be using it can edit human embryo to do a lot of genetic changes that get get out of control in the future. This will produce a new generation of genetic modified human which can facilitate a man made human evolution.Again who is gonna authorize which genes should be edited and on what condition and another thing is money ,only rich people will be able to edit their genes and they wont die or get sick .
