Lol i am going to try to make Chicken salad chicks’ Lauryns lemon and basil chicken salad. Wasn’t sure it would get fine . Going to try this and then hand mixer if needed!
Well done! I like the extra detail you provided, specifically that those little bits between the cuts should be selected and deleted (other videos I watched made no mention). It's unnecessary time added to the job, so those details are important.
can you help me with cutting out a design that has a image plus lettering? I want to remove majority of the back ground and just print what I have in letters and image.
Any idea why worlds would be cutting on top of each other when printed? They look fine on the screen but when I send it to the cameo the bottom line is on top of the last word. On screen it’s all within the printing/cutting area. I was using Bluetooth to print if that makes a difference. Thanks!
I just discovered this feature. So great! I can't figure out how to get my words to stay stuck together though. In cricut it's called "attach" but I'm not sure how to do it for my silhouette. Essentially, in your video above, suppose I wanted the letters in the word "Olivia" to be grouped together and then nest everything? I've tried "group" but it doesn't seem to work on text characters.
How can you make font thicker without it weeding like it’s shredding ? New to this and I’m getting frustrated when it seems like it should be quick and it takes multiple tries selecting font thick enough (specifically not cursive)
NOTE: THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH GROUPED TEXT. You must ungroup text from other objects in order for this to work. It must still be read as text by the software. So if you have converted it to a path, it doesn't work.
Just got a silhouette cameo 4. Had a Pazzle that I used for banner letters that no longer works. I am having trouble getting the 1.5 inch letters with the silhouette that I need for the banners. It always goes back to 72.0 when I need 215.0 or 1.5 inches. How do I get the size to stay where I need it? Thanks. Your tutorial was great!
If you are just finding this video and finding that when you cut your letters, the two edges don't close in like hers did -you have to click on the knife and at the top in the settings, choose "SOLID". Then the letters will close in instead of remaining open!
