interesting you have a smaller sway bar in the front, why? is there more body roll for the tires to get more grip in the front or did you just want to maximize the lift off oversteer?
I just got mine like 3 months ago same color, I love them 😍, if I’m honest I wish them were a bit brighter/more yellow bronze but overall a sick wheel Stupid clean - Q300 I assume??
I like it. But I've never driven a civic with the 24mm bar. The car seems to rotate well enough for me. Maybe someday I'll try the 24 but Im happy with the 22mm now.
Would you say it’s super loud ? Or just a bit louder with a nice growl ? Asking because my sister has loud strait pipes and I found a used flowmaster cat back for cheap
I think it’s just a bit louder, I can’t remember exactly. If you have straight pipes now, any exhaust with a muffler is going to quiet it down so much.
I’d probably just make sure your car is in good mechanical shape, no oil/coolant leaks. Fresh brake fluid, possibly high temp fluid and brake pads depending on your local track. Oem pads can fade pretty fast if you’re driving hard. And maybe summer tires, you don’t want to be out there on all seasons, I’ve seen people at events with all seasons and their tire shoulders just get destroyed. But that really depends if you’re driving overly aggressive.
Sounds good asf. How is the 10k/16k? I'm running the buddyclub N+ Spec suspension so I have 10k/14k. Perfect for street and daily driving but also heavy track use.
It feels really good! The rear end is much more willing to rotate. (I was on normal BCs 6k/10k last year). However the ride quality is significantly harsher. Fine for a track car, but I’d probably get tired of it if this was my daily.
I love it man you are really making me miss my fa5. Can’t wait to get another i have an fa1 currently with the r18 and a 5 speed but damn is it not even close to the same feeling. I hate deer so much now that thing was my baby and i wanted to keep it forever. They are hard to find clean in my area so i feel like I’ll be looking for a while.
@@YuckyGarage thanks, i saw that yours came with a highflow cat? i wonder if that affects performance. I asked because it sounds great and i want to get headers and a new exhaust in the future for sound and drivability, currently my stock exhaust is blown out and cat is super worn out
Ah dang, it’s been good to me. But I really only used it for etuning. Since I got my final tune it’s just been sitting in a drawer. I wanted to just “set it and forget it” didn’t plan on constantly adjusting things.
Are you running an aftermarket header with a cat or oem without? I have the 70mm Q300 w a 2.5” vibrant header w high flow cat. I’m curious on how it sounds without the cat, my tune is meant for a catless exhaust so with at being said I have a bit extra back pressure in my header
