Doug Tracht had a great thing going, while it lasted. Radio changes more than New England weather, so he rode the wave for quite a while.

The ending was a bit odd, but then again he tended to tell stories in which the endings were the weak spot. lol Anyways, thanks for posting this clip.

He was on in Rochester NY briefly... Loved the show❤. But he apparently offended some busy body's, they cut him. Any idea what he is doing now?

I can't believe this was entertaining in the 80s. I'm only looking the guy up because I was watching a old Howard Stern episode and he said his name.

Worked at The Bayou in Georgetown in the very early 90s as a stage hand. Kix musically was never one of my favorite bands, but they put on a hell show and were just cool as hell dudes to work for

I'm realizing now how lucky I was to grow up in Spotsylvania Virginia during the 80s exclamation point mostly listen to The Greaseman but was able to hear Howard I think it was on Sunday night they would do one night. I didn't really remember him much on DC101 because I was born in 75, so I think I was a little young at that point. But I sure remember the greaseman. Then eventually, on 106.7, you had Howard Stern and the greaseman, Imagine 6 hours a day everyday almost of these two guys pushing to the limit. Radio was awesome back then. Sure did take it for granted
