If I play this exactly this way, with no capo (relative to the capo though), would I be in the key of E? I think I'm correct, but not sure. And we are supposed to play in E this week.
WOW, I really like the way you play that. We've played this song in worship service hundreds of times, but I've never thought to play it like that! I don't use a pic so I'll try the eighth notes finger picking for now, but I'm definitely going to start practicing more with a pic and see what I can do! Thanks for the great video!
Yes, it is. The way tabs are read is relative to the capo. For example, since in this song the capo is on fret 1, a 0 on the tab would be an open string because the “neck” is shifted up to the capo’s position. This allows you to move the capo and play in different keys.
@@WorshipTeamResources 😂 you know you can make those shapes with no capo however will take lil more effort. I would just tune down half step and play in D rather than shortening my guitar buy hey to each their own, i actually didn’t know tabs were relative to capo.
Some might be able to for this key, but it could be quite a strain for others. Tuning down is good too, but tricky if you need to play another song soon after (and need to retune the entire guitar). The choices we make 😉
Great job! I like the pick, gives it a very punky sound and helps w the quicker up strokes. Let’s blow the lid of worship! Make our ceilings of yesterday our floors of tomorrow. 🧡
I tried downloading the sample to check it out but it won't let me do it. I keep on putting my email to receive the download link and it appears "fill in the required field" message. I even registered. Help please? and thank you in advance
¡Gracias por contactarnos! Son las notas correctas. Utilicé la pista de bajo oficial para transcribir las líneas de bajo. Esto es casi idéntico al registro oficial.
In mainstage I get an instability error in the audiounit module. Do you think that by installing these downloads that message will stop appearing? greetings
No, Audio Units refer to 3rd party plugin issues. You are probably either: Missing a plugin that a sound is using (it wouldn’t be KeyStudio, as we don’t use any third party plugins), have a plugin that is incompatible, or have a plugin that is corrupt. If you post the exact error, I can help you diagnose it better.
@@WorshipTeamResources but in the module manager, everything appears compatible. I followed your advice because some sounds did not appear downloaded in mainstage.
@@jkalel6310 it doesn’t hurt to download the MainStage sound library, but just know it doesn’t have anything to do with Audio Units. What is the exact error message you are getting?
@@jkalel6310 it’s either a MainStage bug or perhaps one of the third party plugin developers for a third party plugin you installed is not up to date for what MainStage wants to see. If everything looks good in the Plug-in Manager, then I wouldn’t worry about it.
This is an excellent tutorial video! My HX Stomp arrives today and I plan to get your Bass Studio immediately! Thank you so much for posting all these incredible resources!
