I have an old pair of Greasepoint work jeans that have been put up with my BS and still look great. Loved them so much that I just ordered a new pair in the ecru denim. Love y’all!
I need to get me another pair of GPW jeans with a slightly wider leg opening to fit my engineers better. I love the ones I have. They're perfect for lace ups and make me feel like a badass. They feel special, even over my Iron Heart. I'm struggling with picking a color. That is the only thing holding me back. I'll have another pair soon though.
I cant believe how much abuse my first pair of double indigos took. Amos' crew repaired them once. When they finally blew up I had a hard time giving them up... they were like a part of my legs. This is frankly the best workwear made in the world and luckily it's made right here in the PNW-USA
A number of years ago I bought a pair of Levis for around 100 USD, and within a year of work wear and cycling occasionally they were garbage, beyond repair. The quality of materials and craftsmanship has really degraded for that brand, so I tried a few other working clothes brands and it was a lot of the same deal. This really changed my perspective on what clothes to consider for the future, as the fast fashion industry is one of the world's biggest polluters. While it might seem expensive at first, GPW clothes last. We've become too accustomed to the malaise the of trends the fast fashion industry wants you to be a part of as well, where we're just in a vicious cycle of repeated trends, with little innovation towards real sustainable practices ("greenwashing"). Not only do these clothes last a lot longer than they're sticker price in terms of value, the designs and fits are timeless.
