I fully transitioned from relaxed to natural hair as of September 2017. My last relaxer was April 27, 2015. I am a self-taught makeup and hair style enthusiasts; learning many of my techniques through trial and error, observing techniques used at salons, and much more.

Oh my Gosh! Your hair is so beautiful. I am so happy that I found your channel. I decided to go back natural from relaxing my hair for a decade. I am at 2 months post relaxer & looking for channels that would help with my transition. I would like to be a heat train natural in the end without the big chop. Do you think your hair is repairable? I would recommend protective styling and use products with protein (not too much) but just enough to strengthen your hair. I hope this helps! ❤️

It depends on the day… I wear protective styles, I wear my hair in its natural state, and sometimes I wear it straightened. Today I straightened it. ❤️✨
@@DenayTheDiva got it. I just noticed that your curl pattern has loosened considerably and your ends are straight. I just assumed that it's not an issue for you if you decided to commit to keeping it straight most of the time.
@@MT-yx5cu I experienced a setback after wearing a protective style for 4 months at the beginning of 2020. It damaged my hair completely and made my ends very thin; compromising my curls. I’ve been working on bringing my hair back to life since then and gradually snipping my ends… which is the reason for the significant hair change. 😢 I don’t want to BC so it will be a gradual journey for me.
