Mostly about Honda Civics (92 to 2000), and Honda Accords (90 to 93). Started out on a CB7, and kept going. Currently my day driver and experimental car is a 99 Civic DX.
Thanks so much! It was working when I was doing it alone for a while and so I went to tell my dad my accomplishment and he broke my window and now it’s so far off track I can’t move it back 🙃 the woes of being a girl😔💅
Thanks you for posting this - pulling on the old trim pieces was nerve racking- Why would Honda put the main relay attachment mount in that orientation? If the fastener was flipped to unscrew from the inside (glove box side) removing the trim pieces would not be necessary - would cut down on repair time and risk of breaking one of the trim pieces- odd.
Still use this today, 3 years later. We don't get much snow, just 9 months of rain. I do store my kayak in it now: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HVRRZ4iO-oA.html
THANK YOU! I spent so much time trying to figure this out with various methods. Then gave up and looked on RU-vid.... Your video was the ticket to getting this done in just a minute. Thanks!
I want to take off the door panel and pop out the dent from the inside, can I just remove the door panel (by using that tool), or will I have to remove that hardware first?
@fright747 You're right...but after looking at my statement IDK where in heck I came up with $30. Both pieces (One for brake, one for gas pedal) was almost $11 with tax. It must have been one of those days...lol.
I might do that. Mine just broke 30min ago. Update: Since I'm a hoarder and buyer of bolts and nuts of all sizes I happened to have the perfect one, great suggestion!
It works, I couldn't find a hose but found a used A4 size envelope folded it to fit that space where it fell, I then put duct tape at the end then lowered it in delicately and retrieved my fallen bulb. Thanks for the idea.
