This channel contains lectures, presentations and interviews for my college courses, plus material related to my work in Registered Apprenticeship and some pretty videos.
When I was a little kid back in the 1950's, there was a water hole on old highway 99 just north of Redding that had a ceiling covered with matchbook covers. I don't know about their technique for attaching them there. All I remember is just seeing the ceiling covered with matchbook covers. Then a few miles farther north, in the little town which is now referred to as "Shasta Lake City," in the same timeframe, mid-50's, there was the Pancake Theater, which had all its inside lobby area covered with blue painted egg cartons and flats.
