I'm glad you did a reaction to that part. I've seen audience reactions and individual reaction videos to the Vader reveal and Vader's redemption, but I remember being a kid and watching that part and being shocked when Luke overpowered Vader like that. I was 8 or 9 at the time.

Leon is by far more skilled and agile than Krauser. But he only guarantees himself in the offense. He can't handle Krauser's pressure and superhuman strength. That's why Leon lost in this cutscene but won the boss battle. Krauser at first kept attacking and Leon just defending, like holding himsellf the whole fight, giving Krauser the advantage and inflating his ego in the proccess, considering Leon was only alive because Ada saved him. That alone justifies Krauser acting cocky during the first phases of the bossfight. But this being a bossfight allows the player to control Leon and, as intended, go offensive and keep the pressure up as much as he wants to. Then, Krauser stops holding back and reveals his true form. But loses anyway because he never stood a chance, also considering he traded his humanity for power while Leon has his sheer force of will
