This didn't age well. It appears that regulated suck (use more power, need more power injection, stops working at a higher voltage) compared to resistor pixels.

This is fantastic content. One question I have, however, is given the 5-10 dollar transmitter option, there is a single solder point for a basic 75 CM antenna. How does one affix a coaxial connection to that point for a hookup to a homemade dipole antenna? I made a dipole and am using a Balun coax transformer so the upper lead of the dipole is on the coax center conductor. Given the type of transmitter mentioned, would one just have the center line conductor solder to the antenna out connection on the transmitter?
So your snow machine isn't hooked up to Fpp? I currently have mine running with DMX throughout the whole song. It would be awesome if it would disable or enable that DMX port without needing to restart FPP programmatically. Then it wouldn't matter what song is playing as long as it's programmed in.

I have a 1290 LED pixels and when I followed your formula on power injecting I end up with 6 points to power inject. My question is this, how many injection points can I have in a single run based on this model using 14 AWG low voltage wire? Thank you for you great presentation.
Thanks for the awesome info. I just had my front yard landscape change to fake grass due to the city requirements for water conservation here in LA and my contractor no# rule No Poking on the ground. I was looking for another ways to get my 9 1/2 ft. mega tree up again from Holiday Coro w/ 10ft. rail tubing from Home Depot. I found the self standing mega tree kit from Mattos Designs is this the answer for my fake grass issue ? Just need your input. pls. reply. thank you.
I have a question about connecting a dipole antenna (one that I will make) up to a DSP PPL FM Transmitter. Would I connect the center wire up to the Antenna connection on the transmitter and the "shield" wire to the GND on the back of the transmitter?
For the past several years I've been having an issue with my lighto rama Shows Some nights it runs the whole 30 minute show But some nights it only runs half the show and the lights shut down Cannot figure out what's causing it I'm running it from a windows 7 computer Is anyone having these same problem.
I’m using mp3 gain and still song to song there’s a noticeable difference in volume? MP3gain states they are all equal at 90db but they are not all the same
I worked fine last year but I download the 5.610 this year and start working but it worked fine on my brother's computer he has a 4.4116 what would cause it not to work
My lanarama worked fine last year but when I downloaded the 9.6110 this year it was stopped working but I can hook it my brother's computer and he has the lower version he has a 4.416 and it works fine what would cause that not to work
