Nice work. Very good condition. I also own a working one, just the Magic Eye tube is not perfect, but we still can manage to buy. Do you know what's the lamps voltage for replacement?
I suppose you mean the dial lights? I can't remember and I don't own it anymore. But the chassis is the same as the Philips B5X72A. The technical documentation mentions the lamp is a 8024N. This is a 6.3v/0.3A lamp.
@@ribstick thank you. Meanwhile I removed the burned out bulb and was able to see the reference. You're right, that's exactly the 8024N. The Siera is similar to the Philips B5X72A but without the EQ section, I suppose. :)
where did you get the idea they are hybrid ellioti x zebra? The vertical bars? In certain mood aureus like many other Thorichtys species show vertical bars. Moreover, these where identified as T aureus: www.cichlidae.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=893
@lipmanss : You could have the Aequidens diadema...A sp. Jenaro Herrera is commonly sold under the name A. diadema. They have some small differences. Kullander mentioned that these fish (peru-variation) could be an other species than A. diadema. But it's not yet confirmed.
Beautiful turquoise Discus. In really nice colour and condition. I have a question about your driftwood. Every time I put driftwood (this is store bought and supposedly the proper type for aquariums) in my tank after a time a get a real bad odor from it. Have you ever had this problem? I end up taking it out and say to myself never again but I see another real nice piece and it starts all over again.

@LivingForTheFuture: When they grow older you can better differentiate those species. H. cyanoguttatus and H. carpintis grows bigger, and is higher-bodied. The small irisating dots from H. tamasopoensis are better lined than those from H. carpintis and H. cyanoguttatus. Mine are now adult (18 cm).
@LivingForTheFuture The Texas Cichlid is Herichthys cyanoguttatus and isn't the same fish. Herichthys tamasopoensis is endemic to te Tamasopo region (Rio Gallinas and his tributaries) in the Panuco Riverbasin

Okee, ik ben echt een dinosaurus liefhebber dus ik zou er echt graag heen willen, maar ik heb wat filmpjes gezien met overduidelijk veel kinder gelach zegmaar dus dacht ik even dat het misschien bedoeld was voor het jongere publiek :D Maar ik lees erg veel positiefs over deze show.
Nou, ik vind het eenb aanrader, zowel voor jong en oud. Ik heb zelf evenveel genoten van de show als m'n kids...maar misschien schuilt er dan ook wel nog een kind in mij :-p
Hey ik ben ook van plan hier heen te gaan maar is het vooral leuk voor kinderen of is voor jong en oud? Dat vraag ik me nog een beetje af, want ik zou het zo jammer vinden als ik daar zit met alleen maar kids om me heen bijvoorbeeld :-p
lol....c'est un tube qui ètait dans le bac et de quoi il se servaient comme cachette quand ils étaient plus petits. Le tube était a ce moment à la vertical sur le sable, mais le mâle l'a bousculé en s'énervant contre moi
