In 2024, JulieAnn took over as the CEO at Katie's House Foundation. In addition, JulieAnn works part-time as a detective for the Inverness, IL police department and serves as the law enforcement liaison for Cook County District 3's drug, veteran, and mental health courts.

I went to high school with Byron. I remember his and a number of my classmates struggles. I’m so proud of your accomplishments as a classmate but as a teacher now super proud of this transparency and how you are able to influence others.
