Quran And ˹remember˺ when your Lord brought forth from the loins of the children of Adam their descendants and had them testify regarding themselves. ˹Allah asked,˺ “Am I not your Lord?” They replied, “Yes, You are! We testify.” ˹He cautioned,˺ “Now you have no right to say on Judgment Day, ‘We were not aware of this. . Surah Al Araf 7:172 Nor say, ‘It was our forefathers who had associated others ˹with Allah in worship˺ and we, as their descendants, followed in their footsteps. Will you then destroy us for the falsehood they invented?’” 7:173

As a Shia Muslim, I just want to say that I respect Sunni Muslim brothers and love them. But as the Imam in the video was telling about the Sunni majority, I would like to say that we dont have Sunni in the Quran but we have Shia and being a Shia (meaning follower), and also about Shia in hadith. The Holy Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) left the Quran and the Ahl al Bayt (pbut, his pure and infallible family which are not all family members, only the infallible ones) after him according to the very famous hadith al Thaqalayn. Both the Quran and hadith also support the fact that you should love and follow the Prophet's (S) family. As with the companions they are respected, but they dont have the superiority as the Ahl al Bayt have. So in order to be a true follower of the Holy Prophet (s) you have to be a Shia of Ahl al Bayt and the Quran. Because they represent the Holy Prophet (s) the most. The infallibility for the infallibles is against all sins, major and minor and even other mistakes (other than to "do an action that is less good than another" tark al awla) for all of their lives.

@@xmuhmd The word shia is mentioned in the Quran, but by understanding the Quran and ahadith we understand that those who follow Ahl al Bayt and the 12 caliphs/Imams are Shia of the Prophet and Imam Ali (a). When being a Muslim and also a Believer and a Shia, friends and family are not a criteria. It is no problem using the word Shia because the Quran uses it. May Allah swt guide us all.

There is a good God, the Creator, and his enemy. If the enemy is ONE , then the logic is that the God of goodness, the Creator, is the opposite and greater than him. As for the lukewarm religions that call for killing and love at the same time, they are the religions of the enemy, because the Creator God of goodness disgusts the lukewarm, “Because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I spit you out of my mouth,” and the fate of their followers is weeping and gnashing of teeth ..................................

Muslims believe in Jesus/Issa as the messiah. To Muslim Issa is a righteous man. He was a prophet of God. His mother was named Maryam/ Mary, and she was chaste. Maryam came from a honorable family named Imran. Angel Gabriel spoke with her and told her she will give birth to the messiah. She gave birth to him in secret. Issa doesn’t have a father. Issa spoke Aramaic and lived in Palestine. Jesus is the name given to him many years later, by Roman converts. The first miracle he did, was defend his mother as an infant. “I am indeed a servant of Allah: He has given me revelation and made me a prophet; He has enjoined on me prayer and charity as long as I live. He has made me kind to my mother, who is chaste and whom you blame. He did not make me an unfortunate oppressor. So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die and the day that I shall be raised up to life again”. Issa did many miracles like cure the sick, heal the blind and bring animals and humans back to life, with the will of Allah. He criticized the religions leaders of his time. His people rejected him and wanted to harm and kill him. God is currently preserving him till the arrival of Al-Masih ad-Dajjal. Issa alone will kill the dajjal. He will protect his followers from Gog and Magog (Yajooj And Majooj). Issa will live for 40 years. He will rule, marry and have kids. He will eventually die a natural death.

Christianity is the one and only true religion. ✝️
@nabilrahman6516
@nabilrahman6516 3 дня назад
I disagree. Islam (submission to the One God) is the one and only true religion. This is because of the strict monotheism of the religion and the religion was sent for all of mankind. Christianity cannot be true because it does not befit the majesty of God almighty to become a man who needs to be fed and sleep. Also in Christianity the only way to salvation in the afterlife is to just believe that a man was tortured on a crucifix and his blood sacrifice atones for your sins. The only way to salvation in islam in the afterlife is through the mercy of God and to do good deeds and repent. Everyone will be accountable for their own deeds.

*15 Astonishing facts About Islam That you Really don't know !* *1)* *“Islam” means “surrender” or “submission”* . “Salam” (which means “peace”) is the root word of “Islam”. In a religious context the word “Islam” means “the surrendering of one’s will (without compulsion) to the true will of God in an effort to achieve peace”. *2)* *“Muslim” means “anyone or anything that surrenders itself to the true will of God”.* By this definition, everything in nature (trees, animals, planets, etc.) are “muslims” because they are in a state of surrender to God’s will. In other words, they are fulfilling the purpose for which God created them. *3)* *Islam is not a new religion or cult.* It is a universal way of life and civilization. *Again, Islam is not a new religion,* rather it is the same message preached by all earlier prophets such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them all). But God’s final message to mankind was revealed to the last prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), as a revival of lost teachings of previous prophets and as a reconfirmation of the eternal message. Studies show that between 1.5 and 1.8 billion people in the world identify their religion as Islam. Along with Judaism and Christianity it traces its roots through Prophet Abraham and back to the first humans Adam and Eve. *4)* *There are five pillars of practice in Islam.* These practices must be undertaken with the best of effort in order to be considered a true Muslim: A) Declaration of faith: A statement proclaiming the belief in One God and that Muhammad is a prophet of God. To become Muslim a person simply recites this statement publicly, and in Arabic. B) Formal prayer five times a day. C) Poor-due tax: 2.5% of one’s excess wealth given to the needy once a year. D) Fasting during the daylight hours in the month of Ramadan. E) Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once, if physically and financially able. *5)* *There are six articles of faith in Islam.* These are the basic beliefs that one must have in order to be considered a true Muslim. They are belief in: A) the One God. B) all of the true prophets of God. C) the original scriptures revealed to Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad. D) the angels. E) the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. F) destiny. *6)* *Muslims believe in the one Creator of the Universe, referring to Him as “Allah”* which is the Arabic word for “God”. Muslims worldwide, even English-speaking Muslims, frequently use the Arabic word “Allah” because Arabic is the language of the Qur’an. But Allah is no different than the God of Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The Creator is the Creator regardless of what people call Him. In the English language He is most commonly referred to as “God”. Yet Jesus spoke a different language, referring to God as “Eloi” in Mark 15:34 of the New Testament. Are “God” and “Eloi” different gods? Many Hispanics call God “Dios” and many French say “Dieu”. It would logically follow then that people who refer to God as “Allah” in the Arabic language are referring to the very same God. In fact, many Arab Jews and Arab Christians call God “Allah”. And the word “Allah” is written in Arabic script on the walls of many Arab churches and on the pages of Arabic Bibles. So while the understanding of God may differ between faith groups, the various names used to describe Him does not change the fact that the one Creator of the Universe is the God of all people. This is *Allah* Almighty, The Creator, the one and only true God. He is my God, our God: *"Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."* (Quran 2:255) *{Say, “He is Allah, the One. Allah, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” }* (Quran, 112:1-4) Allah Almighty says in the Quran: *"Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."* [Quran 39:53] *7)* *The Islamic concept of God* is that He is loving, merciful and compassionate. Islam also teaches that He is all-knowing and the perfect judge of affairs, and will punish (or forgive) accordingly. However, Allah once said to Muhammad, “My mercy prevails over my wrath”. So Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope, protecting one from both complacency and despair. *8)* *Muslims believe that God has revealed 99 of His names, or attributes, in the Qur’an.* It is through these names that one can come to know the Creator. A few of these names are the All-Merciful, the All-Knower, the Protector, the Provider, the Near, the First, the Last, the Hidden and the Source of All Peace. *9)* *The Christian concept of “vicarious atonement” (the idea that Jesus died for the sins of humanity) is alien to the Islamic concept of personal responsibility.* Islam teaches that on the Day of Judgment every person will be resurrected and will be accountable to God for their every word and deed. Consequently, a practicing Muslim is always striving to be righteous while hoping and praying for God’s acceptance and grace. *10)* *Muslims believe in all of the true prophets* that preceded Muhammad, from Adam to Jesus. Muslims believe they brought the same message of voluntarily surrendering to God’s will (islam, in a generic sense) to different peoples at different times. Muslims also believe they were “muslims” (again, in a generic sense) since they followed God’s true guidance and surrendered their will to Him. *11)* *Muslims neither worship Muhammad nor pray through him.* Muslims worship the Unseen, Omniscient Creator, Allah. *12)* *Muslims accept the original unaltered Torah (as revealed to Moses) and the original unaltered Bible (as revealed to Jesus)* since they were revealed by God. But none of these scriptures exist today in their original form or in their entirety. Therefore, Muslims follow the subsequent, final and preserved revelation of God, the Qur’an. *13)* *The Qur’an was not authored by Muhammad.* It was authored by God, revealed to Muhammad (through angel Gabriel) and written into physical form by his companions. *14)* *The original Arabic text of the Qur’an contains no flaws or contradictions* and has not been altered since its revelation. *15)* *Actual 7th century Qur’ans, complete and intact,* are on display in museums in Turkey and other places around the world. 🔹️ *EVIDENCE ISLAM IS TRUTH* The following are Scientific, logical, and historical proofs that Islam is the Truth: www.islamreligion.com/category/33/evidence-islam-is-truth/ 🔸️ *For more information about Islam:* www.islam-guide.com 🔹️ *Everything to know about the Prophet of Islam* rasoulallah.net/en/articles/article/6818/ 🔹️ *"Myths about The Prophet of Islam"* www.muhammadfactcheck.org 🔹️ *Islam and Racism* Islam with its universal concept of brotherhood rejects all artificial and man-made marks of distinction. Allah Almighty says in the noble Quran: "O mankind, indeed We (Allah) have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." *(Quran 49:13)* No one can claim any superiority over the other based on race, color, language or wealth and this is emphasized in the last sermon of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) showing high regard of humanity irrespective of color or race: "“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor does a black have any superiority over a white except by piety and good action.” 🔹️ *How to convert (revert) to Islam* Basically to become a Muslim is very simple.. you need to say the decleration of faith oraly while you believe in it by heart with a firm conviction and unshakeable faith. *The decleration of Faith in Islam (The Shahada)* The Shahada (in Arabic) can be declared as follows : *“ASH-HADU ANLA ELAHA ILLA-ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASUL-ALLAH”* The English translation is : *“I bear witness that there is no deity (none truly to be worshipped) but, Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah.”* However, it would not be sufficient for anyone to only utter this testimony oraly either in private or in public; but rather, he should believe in it by heart with a firm conviction and unshakeable faith. If you believe that the Bible is the word of God then 👇 *The Biblical prophecies* on the advent of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are evidence of the truth of Islam for people who believe in the Bible. In *Deuteronomy 18,* Moses stated that God told him: *“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.”* (Deuteronomy 18:18-19). From these verses we conclude that the prophet in this prophecy must have the following three characteristics: 1) That he will be like Moses. 2) That he will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites. 3) That God will put His words in to the mouth of this prophet and that he will declare what God commands him. Let us examine these three characteristics in more depth: *1) A prophet like Moses:* There were hardly any two prophets who were so much alike as Moses and Muhammad (peace be upon him). Both were given a comprehensive law and code of life. Both encountered their enemies and were victorious in miraculous ways. Both were accepted as prophets and statesmen. Both migrated following conspiracies to assassinate them. Analogies between Moses and Jesus overlook not only the above similarities but other crucial ones as well. These include the natural birth, the family life, and death of Moses and Muhammad (peace be upon him) but not of Jesus. Moreover Jesus was regarded by his followers as the Son of God and not exclusively as a prophet of God, as Moses and Muhammad (peace be upon him) were and as Muslims Jesus was. So, this prophecy refers to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and not to Jesus, because Muhammad (peace be upon him) is more like Moses than Jesus. Also, one notices from the Gospel of John that the Jews were waiting for the fulfillment of three distinct prophecies. The first was the coming of Christ. The second was the coming of Elijah. The third was the coming of the Prophet. This is obvious from the three questions that were posed to John the Baptist: *“Now this was John’s testimony, when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, “I am not the Christ.” They asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No.”* (John 1:19-21). If we look in a Bible with cross-references, we will find in the marginal notes where the words *“the Prophet”* occur in *John 1:21* , that these words refer to the prophecy of *Deuteronomy* *18:15* and *18:18**.* We conclude from this that Jesus Christ is not the prophet mentioned in *Deuteronomy 18:18.* *2) From the brothers of the Israelites:* Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac *(Genesis 21).* Ishmael became the grandfather of the Arab nation, and Isaac became the grandfather of the Jewish nation. The prophet spoken of was not to come from among the Jews themselves, but from among their brothers, i.e. the Ishmaelites. Muhammad (peace be upon him) a descendant of Ishmael, is indeed this prophet. Also, *Isaiah 42:1-13* speaks of the servant of God, His “chosen one” and “messenger” who will bring down a law. *“He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope.”* (Isaiah 42:4). Verse 11, connects that awaited one with the descendants of Kedar. Who is Kedar? According to *Genesis 25:13,* Kedar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). *3) God will put His words in the mouth of this prophet:* The words of God (the Holy Quran) were truly put into Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) mouth. God sent the Angel Gabriel to teach Muhammad (peace be upon him) the exact words of God (the Holy Quran) and asked him to dictate them to the people as he heard them. The words are therefore not his own. They did not come from his own thoughts, but were put into his mouth by the Angel Gabriel. During the life time of Muhammad (peace be upon him) , and under his supervision, these words were then memorized and written by his companions. Also, this prophecy in *Deuteronomy* mentioned that this prophet will speak the words of God in the name of God. If we looked to the Holy Quran, we will find that all its chapters, except Chapter 9, are preceded or begin with the phrase, “In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.” Another indication (other than the prophecy in *Deuteronomy* ) is that *Isaiah* ties the messenger connected with Kedar with a new song (a scripture in a new language) to be sung to the Lord *(Isaiah 42:10-11).* This is mentioned more clearly in the prophecy of *Isaiah: “and another tongue, will he speak to this people” (Isaiah 28:11 KJV).* Another related point, is that the Quran was revealed in sections over a span of twenty-three years. It is interesting to compare this with *Isaiah 28* which speaks of the same thing, *“For it is: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there.” (Isaiah 28:10).* Note that God has said in the prophecy of *Deuteronomy 18, “If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy, **18:19**).* This means that whoever believes in the Bible must believe in what this prophet says, and this prophet is the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). ■ *Jesus* said to the Jews that *the Kingdom of God* (the prophethood , being the chosen people) would be taken from them and be given to another blessed nation: "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit." (Matthew 21:43) God Almighty removed His Kingdom from them and gave it to other than the "blessed" Arab-Muslims who came from the "blessed" Ishmael. For example, you can not find in the Bible one single unequivocal verse said by jesus himself where he claimed to be God or God the Son. On the contrary, Jesus kept saying that he's just a man, a prophet and a servant of God. Likewise, the bible still contains remains of the prophecies on the advent of the awaited (promised) Prophet despite that his name was removed from the Bible but his descriptions remain.

(Genesis 17:20): "And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation." *15 Astonishing facts About Islam That you Really don't know !* *1)* *“Islam” means “surrender” or “submission”* . A Dialogue Between a Muslim and a Christian: Muslim: Why don't you Christians embrace Islam? Christian: The attributes of our God "Jehovah " are different from the attributes of your God "Allah"... Muslim: But the attributes of our God "Allah" are similar to the attributes of your God " Jehovah " in the Old Testament... Christian: We adhere only to the teachings of Christ, the eternal Word of the one God. Anything that contradicts Christ's teachings in the Old Testament is considered a satanic inspiration. Christ used the passive voice to discredit these satanic inspirations in the Old Testament when he said, "It was said to you... but I say to you...". The passive voice refers to Satan, just as you don't name a malignant disease. If these satanic words were actually the words of the one God Jeovah , Christ would have said, "My Father said to you... but I say to you..." Muslim: But you Christians believe in jihad in the Old Testament; there were the Crusades and several other Christian wars... Christian: No, as Christians we believe in a secular state only because Christ said, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." The lord of this world is Satan, and all wars in this world are from Satan because war requires two parties, and both are inspired by Satan. This is why a Christian fights to defend his land and country, not to enter heaven. Christians believe that wars called crusades or Christian wars are satanic inspirations. Our God was clear when He said, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, flee when persecuted." If our God wanted to kill our enemies, He would have taken their souls Himself, as only the one God can take lives whenever He wants. But Satan, unable to kill, inspires his prophets to kill and wage jihad to achieve his satanic goals. Muslim: Does that mean if the Quran didn't have jihad, killing, and a religious state, you would become Muslims? Christian: All teachings of the Quran contradict the teachings of Christ, not just these aspects. The first miracle Christ performed in Cana was turning water into wine, while you prohibited wine. Christ said about pork, "What goes into someone's mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth." But you prohibited pork. Christ said about stoning the adulteress, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." But you demand she be flogged. Our prayers, alms, and fasting are needs for us to draw closer to our heavenly Father and achieve inner peace, not obligations for Him. Our God will judge us based on the talents He has given us and how we invested them on earth. Christ's return will not be as a fighter; He will raise the dead from their graves, and all souls will be caught up to meet Him in the sky. The dead in Christ will enter paradise first. Muslim: But how can you believe that Christ was crucified? Christian: How can you believe that your God just raised His prophet without the crucifixion happening? You don't even know why He was crucified if His teachings were like those of the Jews and Muslims. Your foolishness extends to believing that the prophet Yahya was killed, but Jesus was not. Muslim: Why don't you embrace Islam and gain both Jesus and Muhammad? Christian: Because your religion is a version of Christian Gnostic heresy (the religion of Muhammad and Khadija) and heresies like Nestorianism, Ebionism, and Arianism, some of which considered Jesus a prophet who wasn't crucified but it was made to appear so to them. John's response in his vision was, "Because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth." Be either Jewish or Christian, but don't be Muslim, Gnostic, or Arian, for the one God will not intercede for you because you see Him as a prophet but will spit you out. Muslim: If it turned out that the Quran was distorted and the original contained most of Christ's teachings, and Muhammad did not fight, would you become a Muslim? Christian: No, my God is in my image, and anything not in my image is Satan. My God I call "Father," He is the King and we Christians are His children, the princes. Our relationship with Him is paternal and fraternal; we yell at Him and He yells at us; He inspires us directly. But I don't know if our Father the King would accept having slaves like you. And if He does, He would not respond to His slaves as He does to His princely children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Mistakes and problems"- children of our heavenly Father. Children needing correction. Children who are not perfect and live, sometimes, long years learning to attain a life that hopefully pleases our Father. It is Good to have examples like King David, who made some grievous mistakes, yet poured out his heart and love for God. Begged forgiveness, did penance and became one of our greatest examples of men. Not to be disrespectful of prophets, Peace Be Upon Them.

Ah, ah, ah. To make you smile. How many pages in the Biblical compendium? How many words on each page? Now count the words. Now form your percentages. ;) . Just kidding. Your joke extended... Yes those were very violent times. And humanity grows, changes. I hope we can appreciate each others prayers. In the religion I practice we are taught only God is perfect. Peace.

I was born a muslima, unfortunately I don't come from a religious family, and American media as well as other Muslims turned me against my own faith and led me into atheism. For many years I was depressed over the state of the world. But now, after seeing the strength & the conviction of the Palestinians as they face a genocide, I've started reading the Quran for the first time. I had to subscribe to Bayyinah in order to get a clear understanding of what I'm reading. And though the world hasn't changed, I have. I have an inner peace knowing there is an almighty merciful Allah, and justice will prevail. Most importantly that there is more to our journey than this existence, that this one life isn't the end-all be-all. Alhumdullallah 🤲 Sending love, duas & respect to my ummah, and my fellow human family. May Allah guide us all. Insha'allah 🇵🇸

I should thank SMAAD for hosting this interfaith dialogue. This was great and I learned a lot. I think dialogues & discussions should continue among the different faiths, so we can understand better our various beliefs. I did visit so many times here and will continue to do so. Thank you and all the best.

Regarding hijab there are verses in the Quran on it: Quran 33:59 O Prophet! Ask your wives, daughters, and believing women to draw their cloaks over their bodies. In this way it is more likely that they will be recognized ˹as virtuous˺ and not be harassed. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Quran 24:31 And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments1 except what normally appears.2 Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their ˹hidden˺ adornments3 except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful.

The Christian minister stated that the Bible contradicts itself when you read the old & new testament literally was surprising to hear from a minister. The Rabbi saying the Hebrew Bible is not prescriptive, and Jews choose not to emulate Moses, their prophet was also surprising. Then hearing Sheikh Omar defend both Moses from the Rabbi, and Noah from the Christian minister was profound. I was an atheist for decades, but after seeing the perseverance & righteousness of the Palestinians in the face of extreme hardship & suffering has bought me back to Islam. I am reading the Quran for the first time, and for the first time I have clarity of understanding, inner strength and most importantly peace in this day & age, when the state of the world seems to reflect the opposite. I use to think religion weakens humanity but without religion, life has only a superficial purpose, and then you die. I've found that people without religion, begin to worship wealth, power & fame, and never find peace even once they've attained it. I'm so grateful to have found my way back to a higher purpose while I am still breathing. May Allah guide us all, insha'allah. 🤲🇵🇸
