Should a operator not run the truck with the intermittent axles locked on... just curious because my back A35D 2002, is having clicking issues when intermittent lockers are engaged
That;s all amazing, but how long does each charge last? Can I do a 10 hour day? This information is something that will sway me to considering one of these.
here in the uk the only people that can use red diesel are farmers and they can only use it only for agricutural purposes, and if you do commercial work for other farmers cutting silage ploughing ,you have to use clear, construction has to use clear road diesel even for running cement mixers
Both of these guys are good spokesmen, but for Volvo, Chris is just the best. He uses Volvo Equipment in his work and takes meticulous care of his machines. I thought you almost lost him when he tried out the 330. Thanks for winning him back with the 350 Volvo excavator.
Howdy Volvo! Thank you for taking such good care of Chris & Mike! I've been watching both of them for years! Great video! Thumbs up! A thought for your corporate big shots - there's another You Tube guy that Chris & Mike hang around with - C&C Equipment. He does repair/rebuild work on John Deere and Cat equipment. The thing I dislike most about the new generation of excavators is the logo on the boom. Just looks weird compared to the older generations. It's like Volvo was trying to save a few pennies or something. Really don't see why it needed changed.
Fuel Filler Cap is needs more Security coz the Key Barrel Lock is a Waste o Time coz a thief will just force it or shove a screwdriver in it !!- Needs a Hefty Over centre hinged Lockable Bracket made from Stainless - so thief cant cut through it.- fuel tank would be better made from stainless so it cant be Drilled
@1:36 that is an optional refueling suctions line. I wish my 2014 ec220dl had that refueling option on it. 8000 hrs later and I luv my Volvo. The funny thing is all the new cab features are exactly what I was thinking about for the last 5 years,more storage,hot,cold lunchbox/drink holders,air line for dust cleaning>> But they forgot one thing a bubble in the door for a dog friendly viewing window. My dog has more cab time than most operators and he has a few things to say about his comfort! As he jams his head between the door and my boot to sleep. The new 1 piece engine cowl and ez access to the dpf looks nice. That's why I went with Volvo they think about the mechanics. Accept for the tech manuals they need better translation most of us don't speak Swinglish> Swedish-English<. I just wish they would send me a new one :0 for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE p.s I dream of owning a fleet of EV excavators. I'm a gold miner and cutting out a fuel bill and using Alaska's 24 hour day light to charge up. That would increase gold mining profits 50+% >>>Volvo I'll be your top secret R&D guy plz send me EV's pleeeeeeeeeeease :0
They need to do a 3 camera shoot of Chris (wearing a lapel microphone) doing running commentary during a walkaround and digging/loading/finish grading set of operations. It would be interesting to users and engineers alike and Chris excels in all those operations....especially loading and finishing.
@@DirtPerfect New gadgets are fun to see. But with all these new toys and electric equipment, Safety equipment. Isn't there just bigger chances Off problems.. I really do like the Volvo machines but with the reliability they have not been so fortunate. Unfortunately. I think You can say that volvo construction equipment Would be the leading company In innovation For construction machinery. They are sort of like setting a standard That other manufacturers later will incorporate on their machines In some way. Now Volvo may not be the best on everything they do but they are very close
As an operator myself I’m all for Chris because he is good on any machine! I have been following him for years and COVID hit and he was a life saver because after 7days a week working all of a sudden I was sat in a workshop watching a tv , many thanks Chris for that 🙏
Too bad corporate media types couldn't spring for the fuzzy cordless mics. Mostly just hearing the wind and the boys fading in and out every time they turned their heads. Maybe do better next time.
