I’ve known Steve Morse since I first moved to Atlanta in 1976. I saw the Dixie Dregs many times and was always in awe of his guitar mastery. I worked with the Kansas crew in 1985 on the Power Tour with Steve on board and he breathed new life into those guys for a couple years. His long tenure in Deep Purple resulted in some of their best recordings. He is as fine a man as he is a player. Fine song here with delightful drumming and grandiose guitar work. A++++
Exquisite playing. In your studio I’ve noticed a large vintage Premier concert tom Kit. Reminds me of one of Keith Moon’s mid 70s touring sets. Is it one of his old kits ?
If you put Todd's body of work next to Neil's, I have to say personally, I think todd is a much more well rounded drummer with a much cooler style. Way more creative. To me anyway. And even cooler kit if possible!
Todd - I absolutely LOVE watching you play! So fluid, so relaxed, just an incredible talent! I am a percussionist myself and have played in many different settings and many different styles from church worship teams to southern rock cover bands and even in semi-professional orchestral settings and I just can't getting enough of watching your technique, style and interpretation. So very articulate, so clean, so crisp, a combination of a great drummer with a great sounding drum set. A a master of percussions. I love the sound of the high hat, the Tom's tuned high and choice of Cymbals. Superb taste on this cover. I can learn a lot! Thank you Todd!
Aaaaahhhhh...I love this so much! Being a lifelong fan of the wonderful SC and still marveling at his contributions to everything from improvisational jazz and rock to formal ballet and orchestral works, this is such a fitting tribute to his very distinct and signature style. Well done, Todd!
Todd is an amazing drummer! But Copeland is uncopyable. Sure, the parts are inspired by him, but this sounds nothing like Copeland. Both are awesome though... 👍

Awesomeness Todd... Also you seem to tune your kit like myself, love the openess and tone, and the snare not being so high and tight sounding, plus I can hear the bottom head tonality very nice! Been at it for over 35 years myself, not professionally but own mostly professional drums, with many snare drums! Love drumming, soothes my soul...
