Great video. I had this problem come up after I disconnected the battery for a welding job. Than immediately after I connected the negative and started the rig started sputtering and rough idling a LOT with the A/C on. I disconnected the battery, removed the 28 and 10 fuses that are throttle related I’ve seen on another video. Cleaned the throttle body completely( without removing it though) I have also been told that there is a chance of busting the O ring behind the throttle. I’ve stuffed a bunch of rags behind the body with the throttle open using the gas pedal trick. There was a lot of carbon buildup around the butterfly. It fixed that rough idling for sure. Thanks a lot for the video I know it take time to make it.
I finally cleared that code by cleaning the mass airflow sensor, and the throttle body. I took out the fuel pump relay and put it back but that was not the issue. Nor tapping it. Cleaning cleared the code.
This is what my husband and I are using to change out my #4 spark plug for misfire. We will be changing the rest out next week when I get paid, as well as the coils. I hope this makes her run smooth again until then. I have no choice but to drive to and from work, so this is a bandaid until next week. Thank you!
thanks for the video, You helped me figure out how to do the work myself. and thanks to you, I could see that someone had already made some blows to where the tire is placed
Thanks to your video and one other, I was able to change out my rear suspension for the first time ever on my lacrosse! Appreciate th3 saved money and new pride!
I have to change mine.I'm not a mechanic.I do simple work myself to save money. And this video is the best one that I see.I love the video I love you job.Thank you for your help
Thank you I have a Jeep compass 2007 also and it’s been having trouble the rpms go way up sometimes and then it won’t accelerate so i have to pull over turn it off and turn it back on and then it’s fine someone told me I need to go to an actual mechanic to get it checked and filled but don’t have that kind of money so thank you 🙏🏻
Update to my last comment, after 2015, they changed the design of the transmission on the patriots. it won't look like this and is difficult to get fluid into and check.
I got to ask, My trailblazer doesn't throw any codes for something like that but it does idle rough and it's like it has some type of upper end noise. It isn't throwing any codes though and the oil is good. I was wondering if a clogged solenoid can cause something like that like the cam is getting advanced and over time it wore out a lifter.
@@GrimeTimeWithKennydo you think it wouldn't throw a code. It idles pretty good but sometimes it's like it's just not quite as smooth. It's really weird.
I wet the new one with a little residual gas. But it turns out to be a Fuel Pump. Bring it along to your mech or they will price gouge you. $50 pump now $250
Like the video but what year was that But what year was that Buick rendezvous ? And you were saying something like it used to be a all-wheel drive? Now it's a 2 wheel drive, or is it a 1:06 2 wheel drive? And you converted to a all-wheel drive which one?
Mine is a 2014 jeep Patriot sport and mine doesnt have a spot to check or add the transmission fluid. My husbadj said because its a dodge that they dont xome with it but from your video it should please help
Mines too same year the sport in my picture avi it’s giving me trouble just changed the motor now I suspect trans is messing up pulled over pop the hood and couldn’t find the stick this video helped I’m about to go outside and check again
Yeah, like a few others who left comments I would suggest/ask that you do more explaining of what you're doing each step of the way. It would really be helpful in understanding how to accomplish the tasks at hand. Thanks!
Ok, Haha, you did NOT show the number six removal and replacement; that was the most fun for me, short wobble socket extension, swivel and a few unkind words were required. But overall, you did the same routine, very helpful, thanks!
welp, I might be doing this very thing. My pump is singing like groaning wild boar. I know my rack pinion unit leaks but not much I can do I dont think.
