My skin type & skin conditions: very dry sensitive reactive intermittent (and very annoying) redness fine lines/wrinkles some scars
My mother has breast cancer and I started the year with a breast cancer scare. I am at risk and what nobody talks about is that Men too could get breast cancer! The very reason I started selling AVON again! Everything is so creative thank you for sharing have a blessed day! Just for the record I've found that a lot of stores forgot about "Breast Cancer awareness month" all my supplies were at Dollar Tree!
I have been recently diagnosed with a tumor and a cyst of the brain. I feel as if the recent medical Professions are not listening to me about my symptoms and not looking at them as a whole, but independently and not taking this as seriously as I am. I was scheduled to see a neurosurgeon and when I got there I saw a PA instead, I was referred to a ent/neurologist, he said oh don't worry it will be fine. I'm still dizzy, not finding my words, fatigue, and scared... I decided to get another opinion at a more reputable hospital. My approach is this Friday. Pray for me.
Hello Faith, after reading your comment I prayed immediately for you to get answers! I'm sorry you're going through this but so happy to know you are advocating for yourself. Do not let anyone diminish your symptoms and knowing that something 'isn't right!" I had to fight too and it was worth it. Please report back when you can and let us know how you're doing. I will continue to pray for you.🙏🏻
I am 15 weeks out from my surgery (June 28, '24). It went well. I'm now deaf on the left side, but with the deterioration already in progress, that was inevitable with or without surgery. Facial function was perfect waking up, but swelling caused a nosedive, and at day 9 the left side of my face was almost totally paralyzed, but it is slowly coming back, and I feel optimistic. I'm an oboist, so I need more strength in my lips than the average person. My face is to a point where most people would be very happy, but I need more for my playing. I am exercising the muscles, and they are improving, and I am convinced that it'll be back. At the end of the day, my life was saved, and that's the most important thing. I also feel good about quality of life going forward. There's the left side deafness and tinnitus, and some slight dizziness (not debilating dizziness, though), but I feel good about how it's going. I could keep going, but I don't want to write a novel here! I enjoyed this video, and I'm glad you're doing well!
Hello and thank you for watching and for the update on your recovery! It sounds like you are on track to be back to 100% very soon (except the deafness, of course). Your outcome sounds about on par for a very successful surgery/outcome. I'm so happy you are on the other side of this and recovering well. Sounds like you had/have an excellent surgical team which makes all the difference! I have no doubt you'll be playing your oboe in no time! Keep up with your hard work regaining the strength in those facial muscles. That will serve you very well. I also found it helpful to do eye exercises. That may be something else you would like to consider. Please keep us updated here on how your recovery is progressing over the next months!! We love to follow other's journeys as it proves very helpful for many! Glad you enjoyed this video and hearing about my personal journey! This December will be my 15 year post-op anniversary and my first year without a 'follow-up' MRI as I have been given the "all clear" so I have a lot to celebrate! Happy healing to you, my friend!!
@@BrensBoutique Thank you! Yes I have a great team, at Mayo Rochester! Closing the left eye was a problem after that swelling nosedive, so they put me in touch with the facial reconstruction department, saying that I may need an eyelid weight. By the time of the appointment (2wk+ wait), it was clear that that wasn't needed, because it had improved quite a bit. They suggested I wear a plastic bubble over my eye at night, which I have done until nearly a week ago (about the 14wk mark), when I found I'm okay without now. Btw, those things are expensive and insurance doesn't cover them, so I figured out how to use the same one over and over by recreating the adhesive tape part of it out of 3" wide surgical tape (which works far, far better than the awful tape they come with anyway!). They gave me a routine of 12 facial exercises to do, including 3 for the eyes (raise eyebrows, lower eyebrows, scrunch the eyes closed hard). I've made up exercises myself to supplement those, and I do them more than they told me to, because they assured me that there's no harm in overdoing it, and sets of 3 reps of each, each rep held for 3 seconds, the whole sequence done twice a day, didn't seem like enough to me. I just recently had my followup MRI, and they said come get another in 2 years. It's hard to keep these short; so many details!
@@tkat6442 No need to keep things short here! 😊 We're in this together and many enjoy reading other's detailed experiences as it can be so helpful when one is going through this! I'm so glad you're sharing! Your positive attitude and willingness to be vigilant with your exercises is wonderful and sure to help you back to your daily activities quickly! Looking forward to hearing more about your journey when you are able to come back and share! Keep up the good work and know you're not alone!
Hot glue is also sensitive to heat. Storing items made with hot glue in Texas, even in “climate controlled” storage units, can be a disaster! I had a huge Christmas ornament wreath that completely fell apart. I received a nutcracker that was made from terra cotta flower pots that had been my grandmother’s. I had always loved it. My husband put it in my attic and it fell apart. I was so upset.
Hi Cindy, thank you for watching. Oh, that is awful! Hot glue is definitely sensitive to extreme temps. I usually use hot glue for quick adhesion and another type of glue for longer hold for this very reason. I'm so sorry you lost such a special heirloom.😢
All tags were removed from the items in these baskets prior to wrapping them. I left them on during filming for the sole purpose of showing you guys how much things cost and also where they were purchased from. 🥰🎄
Hi Jennifer! Thank you so much for watching. I did post in the description box as well as in the comments that all tags, etc. had been removed prior to wrapping. I should have shown that but I thought people would just know that to be the case. I was mistaken in that assumption as you are certainly not the only one to mention it. I only left the tags on for the sake of the video in sharing cost and where things were from. But rest assured...all tags, etc. were removed!🙏🏻🥰🎄Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hi Friends, I hope you enjoy this Dollar Tree Jenga DIY! These have been very popular among my family and friends and I hope you all love them just as much! Let me know if you have any questions. Would love to hear from you! 🙏🏻🥰🎄
