Would you know how to adjust the auto home/ level? My auto level starts in the 10 spot and registers as the 1 spot. 21-25 are nearly off the back of the print bed. 5:13
I just got mine 3 days ago. I went to auto level and the Z was high above the bed, when I set it to 'Home". Then, to higher the bed, since the z axis was at home, I loosened the knobs, to bring the bed up, and the knobs are about to fall off, and I am still to far from the nozzle, to do the manual leveling, with a piece of paper. How do you manually level the Aquila S3.
@@ryndalekowalski4787 I don't believe I figured out the correct way of leveling the Aquila 3, but do a work around, until the correct method is available. I first loosened the wheels, under the build plate, to bring the bed up as evenly as I could by eye. Then with the machine off I slowly pushed the z axis down, to the build plate and with a piece of paper did a manual level. I then turned machine on then went to Home, then let it auto-level. Then I used the offset setting to slowly approach the bed, with a piece of paper on it. When I had some resistance between the paper, with offset settings around -280, I clicked the disable stepper motors, and did another manual level. Be careful not to lower the Z axis by to much in a movement, as not to slam it into the bed and scratch or chip your bed. Don't move your stepper motors around to fast, because they can generate current, and break electronics. You will have to leave your offset where its at to print, if you go home and auto-level, you will also have to set z again... My friend has a Aquila V2, and his level is now at 0, but he has a piece of glass that compensates for the thickness of the offset. That is the hypothesis.....
I printed the large dice tower from titan forge, April catalog. That beast was printed with ridged resin, 75% with 3mm thick wall. The rest at 100% infill. Took about 4 kilos of resin to print. Wish we could share photos in comments.
@@justinsane7832 yeah I do, I should have thought about that, lol. When I make things I do it for therapy so I don't think about making videos. I should start capturing my journey during some of my builds.
