I have loved Vardos ever since I heard of Gypsy wagons and learned exactly what they were, often dreaming of having one of my own…. Maybe not as fancy as the ones shown in these videos, but a more ‘user friendly’ one….😅 Since discovering this channel, I have gotten ideas to use in the construction of my camper that I am hoping to build to tie behind my E-bike. I have started calling it my ‘mini-vardo’ or ‘bikabin’ I got hooked on the idea of a cabin to haul behind my E-bike from another channel, but that one was very rough and almost slapped together.
I used to know some old-timers here that lived in wagons up until 1941 & heard many fascinating tales of their adventures! we would go to 3 different horse sales every week, sometimes there would be 90 horses at just one sale & my friend would buy any mules & donkeys. That was 1978-82, California. Miss them.
@@davesgotsomewheels8611 I’ve disposed of 3 pianos for customers in the 2 years I’ve been roofing. No-one plays them. They cost too much move. They’re awfully large.
Thank you, Reuben, for coming , once again, to the Aldborough Fayre. It was wonderful to see you there again. Sam, the Cob, helped to make it like the best of old times, trotting around the Green with children in the wagon. The wagons looked beautiful!
I love country fairs. Its such a shame that so many have ceased to be put on due to health and safety and inflated insurance costs. Thank you for sharing.
