I’ve been spiraling out of control. I can’t sleep at night, as a first generation, low income and the oldest there is so much pressure. Law school has always been on my mind but lately also nursing. I worry too much on not being able to retire my family or myself and I also don’t want to feel like I’m running out of time in life. I also don’t want to look back and regret not pursing my passion for film,acting and RU-vid. I can relate to a lot of what you said, and I truly admire your resilience. You are glowing girl and I’m so proud of you for following your heart💗💗💗💗💗
This is very refreshing to hear. Not because I'm thinking about the same thing, but because you're willing to expose yourself like this to the world. So much of our lives are about hitting that next goal and "finishing what you start", but sometimes "finishing what you started" is far more damaging than letting it go. Being at peace in your mind about what you want and who you are is far more important than doing something just because you knew you could and not because you should. So happy for you choosing you!
I’m a Creative Writing major headed into my last year of undergrad. I have been afraid to graduate and head into a career/next season of life. This summer I have been thinking about going to law school because of the prestige, more school, and financial stability. I found your account while researching this whole process. But everything you said about why you’re leaving law school is how I am feeling about applying. Thank you so much for this! Brought me clarity!

Im really proud of you for realizing this! I have a similar story. In undergrad I was pre law. Post grad, during my gap year, I was getting ready to start studying for the lsat. I kept pushing it off. I could not bring myself to study. I was so frustrated with myself for not being on top of studying and then I started questioning why? Why am I putting this off endlessly? I realized that is not at all what I want to do with my time. I am applying for MSW programs in the following months! This feels so much more exciting and aligns with my interests.

Girl pickleball is life-changing! I have never played tennis so I may not be the best at giving a comparison but it's so fun and very very easy to get into. All my tennis friends say it is a lot easier than tennis too, very fun little hobby.

I am on the fence about whether I want to go to law school or not. I was previously pre-med until I realized that science and math were not my strong suit and the actual day to day life of doctors (at least, the ones I shadowed) were not of a huge interest to me. I really enjoy reading and writing heavy classes, anything that is intellectually stimulating, and learning information that can be useful in other areas of my life. I am not sure if anything about law satisfies that, outside of being very reading heavy. Your video was very informative but could you perhaps recommend a video that shares what it is like to be a lawyer and what type of people thrive best in this career? Thanks :)
I feel the exact same way as you! I’m currently in kinesiology for pre physical therapy and I thought I wanted to be a doctor of physical therapy, but chemistry and math is definitely not what I am strong at and since I’m better in reading & writing I am going to switch to poli sci 😭

thank you!! i don't use any effects and don't do any color grading! for all of my morning routines i film in-camera and then for my other videos i switch between filming in-app/in-camera. i will say, for all of my grwm vids, i am sitting directly in front of a window with natural sunlight!!
