You have saved me from spending way too much on a used Thrustmaster Warthog combo, when I could I could get the Orion2 brand new for just slightly more. Thank you for the work you put into this. Cheers!
eye sight problems? Glasses? if i have for example an eye sickness like cataract or grå starr as its called in sweden.. many people have glasses so does it work 100% w glasses? What exactly is this for what games are improved with this(only seen assassins creed valhall) Thanks
Thank you for your effort! Great video. I'd love to see a tutorial on fleet building. In my opinion, it's an essential part of the game, but it's very hard to figure out the best fleet for specific tasks like station attacks on your own.
Just started this game a couple days ago and during the bot matches I was having lots of fun and then I play real people, I get 1-shot and I need 4-5 shots to kill them, even though I have positional advantage. I'm pretty close to quitting this torment, hopefully your videos can persuade me to stay on this game.
@@omarcaneomedia Hey! Thanks for watching. That's the standard experience. Given enough time and experience you'll one shot people. It also depends on the kind of ammo you use. Solid shot usually has more pen but less post-pen damage for example.
Ok but consider this: Early game: huge investment just for some miners to work. Just find better places for them. Late game: Now your station will buy from your own traders from later on, which is bad because you want to sell ore not ship it back and forth. Better to scrap the buy offer altogether, you dont need it. Especially if you set the sell price to lowest, which makes sense.
@@grandtheftex4852 Seems like they are still sending out stock to the warehouses. Should be already available - that's all I know. Maybe ask customer support? They usually reply quite fast.
To highlight the advice at 5:20, as a new player who is slowly improving, one of the biggest gains so far in my gameplay has come from sitting back. Team mates might yell at me, but being dead doesn't help anyone and I'm at least able to 1:1 in kills or get off some good assist this way. Additionally, I am learning more from watching the map than the queue timer. Finally, experienced players seem to push through known choke points if nobody is there, which my noobness comes in handy in being ready for them when they least expect it.
I keep coming back to your guides for tips. First I was "What does 'Build Dock' mean?" (Project Genesis), but now I'm "Screw the dock, I'm getting space rich with my mining fleet!" 😆
Had it for about a month. I do like all the features it has specially the B1 button has thumb tracking so can use it instead of grabbing the mouse. My touch screen has no lag like yours but updated it right away. Is it a high tier stick no, is it medium tier yes. Seems like you’re trying to compare it to winwing or something. When it’s trying to compete with thrustmaster.
@@PaleAle-kg7gz ofc I compare it to Winwing. It sits at the same price. Now with the Ursa Minor there's even less of a reason to buy a flight deck. The Ursa plus a Orion2 throttle with a grip of your choice even sells for less and is two leagues above.
@@PaleAle-kg7gz Where do you live? (Warthog is sub par, too). I judge on European and US prices. The Flight Deck is 399 here. Currently on sale at TB for 369.
@@PaleAle-kg7gz ooh you're in Canada. But can't you order from the WinWing US warehouse then? Should be okay with shipping then. But maybe there are even more taxes then? I'm not familiar with the situation. If you like the FD that's fine. It's not that you couldn't fly with it... But I have to tell people as it is. So I judge on EU/US prices and available competition. That's where it hits a brick wall in the form of Winwing. Within the EU there's even free shipping.
@@WatchMysh yeah I just have some trouble with the reasearch, I don’t understand how to research modules, crews, and how to progress onto the next plane
@@unorganized3911 Modules are parts of your plane which improve the plane. You can research new planes in the tech tree by hovering over them and then choose to research. If you play a game then, you gain research point. They will a) research modules of the plane you're flying at the moment and b) research the plane you chose to research in the tree. Models and planes are bought with silver lions you also gain from succesfully playing. Paid alternative: you can buy modules with golden eagles.
@@DiamondDoggo. Thanks! There's a lot of movement on the market right now. The WinWing Ursa Minor for example is kinda affordable and a lot better than what we had so far around 100 bucks.
I seem to have the production of refined metals up and running and my ships appear to be moving my refined metal from my facility to an arg hull parts factory but they get no money for the delivery I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. It shows they are making a profit but its not in my account do I have to withdraw it from the station?
My miners are telling me no matching order I don't know what I did wrong. Figured it out. I didn't click restrict all factions then allow mine I just blocked mine rip.
The PXN 2119 is a kinda good cheap stick as well and it comes as Hotas as standard. Prolly similar to 3dX where it uses ballcup and now mine starts to have some drift.. thanks for the vid
@@dane4890 Thanks you so much. :) Giving my best & I love my community. You're all awesome people and I'm proud that my comment sections 99,9% are a helpful and civilized place. :)
There is a sale on DLC´s on Steam. Should i just go with the 3 you recomended or should i buy a pack where i get those 3 and 3 more? Is that too much to start out with?
@@dane4890 if you don't care about the money get all at once. X4 is the most fun with all DLCs installed. There's always sth happening then but due to its slow-ish nature the game doesn't force you to act.
Just bought the game today after seing this video, also bought your recomended expansions. First class newbie video, thank you very much! One Question, does anyone use flight sticks or gamepads together with keyboard and mouse?
@@dane4890 thanks! Yes, you can. Watch Captain Collins videos for example. I don't use sticks because I'm more into the fleets/management aspects of X4.
your top 3 are the factions DLC. Those a save bets for any dev. Tides of Avarice IMO is the content egosoft has to follow right now because they say the universe is complete (even thought they broke that with QET) Avarice addaded vertical content. The scrap mechanich enritches meaningfully the gameplay. And the VIG alone is a minor faction which also enriches the gameplay much more than the QET. They are not simply pirates, they do feel as an organised crime mafia due to have big concentrated numbers. What we need now is vertical content. Not more ships. From this 7.0, the only meaningful ship addition to the game has been the H. Which is a nice gunboat for the xenon. A big ship with antifighter capabilities they didnt have previously. The rest of new ships have been meaningless. This patch has rebalanced the sunlight in the universe. That has been vertical and meaningful.
Since Moza just revealed their FFB base, we'll have to see if it's going to make a stomp in the market. I mean it's half the price of any other FFB stick so it could be a big deal - I just hope it used cams and not a cheapo gimbal!
@@fone5003 599€ is crazy "cheap". It will use quality internals else it couldn't deliver 9nm of force. I'll be happily inspecting it if I get a review sample.
@@WatchMysh Looking forward to what you think of it! I'm basically forced to wait for it before I decide what stick I'm getting next - not expecting to spend that much but if it lives up to the hype then I might have to ignore my dried up bank account and consider the extra spend "But it's half the price of any other forc-" *'It's a video game!'* -My family, probably
Thabk you this actually helped me, my rule of thumb is to maintain 800km of altitude and then dive any enemy at 400km/h, I just point my cursor to the enemy and it works wonderfully.
@@Sickzero Danke.
Mach dir keinen Kopf! Du hast es jetzt gerade abgekriegt... Hab in letzter Zeit viele Videos gesehen, in denen die Leute das machen, daher bin ich wahrscheinlich etwas über sensibilisiert.... Dein Englisch ist schon gut😉
@@casey360360 if you're on console there isn't much of a choice. On PC we now have the Ursa Minor which utterly stomps the VelocityOne at a lower price.
An important note. I read this on steam. The solar panel production for energy cells only works here because the sunlight is 100%. You could build a station somewhere where the sunlight is significantly less and be forced to import energy cells add a high cost . Be wary
