If you are using a 12x12 mat on your Cricut the largest you can cut is 11.5 inches. If you want a full 12 inches you will need to use the 12x24 mat. Hope that is helpful.
I thought I did use my 12x24 but maybe not. I may try sizing it larger than 12 inches next time to ensure it goes all the way across the page. Thank you!
Yes, document those memories, especially the year, people & traditions. When I lost my Mom, our whole family fell apart as far as holidays go. Now my dad is gone & my oldest son! 😭 I do envy you that you have all of these pics. When my boys were little, we didn’t take as many pics & no one scrapbooked. Love this layout and this paper collection toon. Could kick myself for not purchasing it.
When my grandma passed, holidays changed for us as well. Trying to hold on to as many traditions as possible but I'm also realizing it may be time to start new traditions with my family.

Thanks so much! 😊 I'm so glad I 'splurged' for it 😂 I'm not one to buy things on my Cricut because I pay for the Cricut Access but almost all of the Disney designs aren't included in that.
You made me cry lol! Its so true and I try to stay out of all of the photos. I will have to remind myself of that the next time I try to avoid a picture.
I like this layout! I occasionally (ok often) feel that some pages don’t click. If you really wanted to add a cluster to lower left, use a larger shape as a base to “hide” the busy pattern - maybe a solid color banner or tucked circle.
I love this layout too! I love everything about it, but agree that the chevron paper is kinda busy. Maybe if you changed the chevron paper to a red solid (because your son is wearing red) or maybe to an orange and red (since you used orange alphabet stickers). I really like it. the funny thing is watching it, it looks like it came together so simple so if you didn’t say anything, none of us would’ve known the struggle. 😊 been there done that. Have you done a video yet on how you’re choosing the stories to tell or tracking the stories you’ve told.
Thank you! I have not done that necessarily although I did touch on it when I did a video about printing my photos. I used to print almost everything before I got my own printer but now I'm being more selective, part because I'm running out of room for all of my layouts. I feel bad when you don’t like your pages. I really like it. I always tell friends I’ve never seen a page I don’t like because it’s your memories and your art. I like your style.
I used to not like journaling in my LOs because I don't like my writing, but like coach said, I want to have my kids see that in the future and now I'm trying to be better about adding journaling.
I love this layout!! Those colors are beautiful!! I too have been shopping my stash lately. Mostly because all collections have gone up & I need to use what I have. I have passed up a lot of beautiful new collections. I have also been using more dies lately. I have two grandsons & also find it hard to use florals so I scrap a lot of my female dog just so I can use the pretty things 😂😂😂

I have used the 7 and 5 inch layout many times as it's easy to remember. I put the striped stripes horizontal top and bottom of your blue wave paper across the 2 pages (mine striped stripes are 1/4 inch too). Cute layout, happy scrappin.
This is such a cute layout! I love the colors and I love the way you set up this layout! I understand how you feel about florals, I have two boys also and some collections come with the prettiest florals, but it just doesn’t feel right to use them with boy layouts. But you’ve inspired me to try it now that I’ve seen how awesome this layout is! Thank you so much for sharing this layout and doing this video! The addition of the striped paper at the top and bottom was such a great addition to your fun layout! I pinned a quote several years ago that said, ‘you don’t know how important photos are until they are all you have left”. So true! My husband died 1 years ago. I can’t tell you how often I sit down and enjoy all the photos of him I have scrapped ❤

Thank you so much! Are you referring to the flairs that I used? Or the circular pieces of paper I used for embellishing? If it is the flairs I got them from Scrappin Happy Studio. I am loving seeing the foundations of your pages. Like you said, you get ideas from others and then make it your own. You have your own little album that I keep of you of your layout pics, on my phone.😊
I love this layout! I like how you slanted the pictures and double framed them. I like how you used the confetti and added the brad to it. Really fun layout!
