Visual artist from Sweden working in games. Big fan of critical role and D&D in general. Recently started playing around with animatics, subscribe to follow me on that journey and see what I create! :)
I know it's been five years, but this video has rewired my brain. It hangs around and it's one of those wonderful videos I just think about and I have to come back and watch it again. It makes me cry every time
honestly, molly's death really got me, but beau breaking down afterwards got me even more. she's so tough and the fact that molly's death affected her enough for her to show it really killed me.
Me: It’s alright, you’re on episode 100, Molly’s been gone for a while now, it’ll be fine. Me once the animatic starts playing: Long may he reign (sobbing hysterics ensue)
Omfg…when they make an animated series about this…? I hope this song is used and the flashbacks are this animatic while he’s fading away…. That way those who are in the know will be that much more emotionally impacted by the scene…
My 70 year old mom is watching this campaign and loving it. I’m glad I just so happened to visiting when we got to this tragic, yet OH so pivotal moment in critical role history. Shine bright circus man…
Well f u c k. It’s been years since I finished cr 2, and it’s still hitting me this hard. I had known that molly dies even before I watched it, knew the episode and everything, and I know the ending of the campaign, and everything… And yet it still hurts so bad! Everything he was and EVERYTHING that *could’ve* been, it’s just- Damn. I hadn’t seen this vid in a while and chose to watch it again on a whim, and it’s all coming back to me. Which is to say you did a damn good job of making it @flyboyElm It’s amazing and I am near crying again
Talisin is, and likely always be my favorite. He just... he KNOWS how to be a nerdy ass voice actor, playing dnd every Thursday. Always has, since day 1. My role model in life.
@@loganisreallyrawThank you for reminding me to come back to this. I am quite sad now after fully watching this though. Update, I am now on Campaign 2 Episode 84
@@CrackerJackers Im in the mid 50s myself. Was at 35 or so when I got to meet most of CR. Making Tal crack up when I told him Cad reminded me of a capybara because he's so chill was great.
I swear, I went into this video being like "Okay, I think I'll be fine as long as it isn't _that_ My Friends. There are other songs by that name that I can totally handle, but not *that* one... *fuck it's that one* _cries_ "
Still my all time favourite CR villain, the connection he had to the party was such a knife twist in the gut but he also was just brimming with charisma not to mention the cosmic horror aspect was just chef's kiss 🤌
The story of The Mighty Nein truly is the story of 9 broken individuals finding love, acceptance, family, and ultimately saving the world while saving each other. We just didn't know it until the very end. (I am including best boi Essek)
Can't wait to meet this guy, when I see cosplayers at a CR cosplay meet up and they say "Photos of hot boy!" Im like, what the hell is this char like, I know he's a Matt run NPC.
