It all started with an impulsive promise back in 1983. When quilting teacher Roberta Horton told quilt-shop owner Carolie Hensley that she wanted to write a book on Amish quilts, but hadn't found a publisher yet, Carolie quickly said that she and her husband Tom would publish Roberta's book. The Hensleys launched C&T Publishing from their garage, with a catalog of exactly one book: Roberta Horton's An Amish Adventure.
Click ahead to today, Carolie and Tom Hensley have turned the business over to their sons Todd and Tony, who are assisted by a staff of more than 25 employees. Meet the Staff! C&T Publishing's catalog includes more than 1000 titles in print and over 300 products to inspire creativity.
C&T Publishing’s list of authors includes many winners of the coveted Silver Star and virtually every other major quilting award. These brilliant authors envision new styles and invent new movements.
That was a cool demonstration. I make only scrappy. I am being punished if I try to make an exact block after block quilt. And it takes me forever. I like that I don’t have to buy to use this book. Good job!
The link says it's printer friendly & more info is in the package. Can you tell me if it works with both Laser and Inkjet printers before I purchase a package?
For books with patterns, I prefer books that have a spiral binding. I appreciate when they can lay flat, whe I use it! I look forward to these proposed LIVE Presentations!!!
I see how I can use the cards to find a solid fabric to add to the primary fabric, but how do I use them to pick a complimentary fabric that is not a solid?
Many thanks for demonstration these colors and their ones next IT. I have always felt color challenges however, today I helped to select most of the color combos as you did. Exciting to me, again , many thanks. I have already ordered this color card pack!!!
Can you tell me the name of the pattern or book where I can find the quilt pattern for paper piecing of the quilt that is hanging above your sewing machine?
i have recently joined Sharon's TAST 2024 Challenge. I am learning so much from the journey, and I have only just begun. I already saw something I would love to make in just the pictures you showed in this video Can't wait to go find Sharon's book.
I just have to say this is total BS. I bought a book for $19 that I thought had the patterns. Now I have to spend hours in the printing store trying to get it enlarged.
