This takes me back a few years, to the time when Trent was Trent and Barton was Barton, with Lincolnshire running the 33c from Grantham and Skills running to East Bridgford. I remember the first ever Atlantean on the 79A route and also remember Barton buses struggling up Broughton hill on Route 2 on the way to Melton Mowbray from Broad Marsh. My father used to work for Trent, but I spent my vacation time working for British Rail in between doing an MA and a PhD. I came to Hiroshima in 1980 and have lived here ever since.
