@@christenblissett5214Sort of. The man fell into the water and was injured and then sued for a million dollars in 1990. Something like that. The ride was removed many years later to make room for the Harry Potter stuff.🫤
I know i could not watch this video if it was not for people like this. but man, i fucking hate when like 50% of the crowd standing like robots with the phones in the air trying to film the consert insted of rocking out!
I get what your saying, me in particular I have been to alot of concerts & have learned to rock out while filming. I have filmed many times while being close to pits & done decent filming (little shaky but decent). I am now starting to just film 2 or 3 videos max, surprisingly the floor wasn't too crazy (as previous Maiden concerts) so I took advantage to film some good footage.
I am using a Sony Cyber shot DSC-W570. This version I got about 5 years ago, so newer versions pretty sure have even better quality. For me Sony Cyber shots are the best for miny digital cameras (that I am aware of).
The first time I went on this ride was in 1991. 10 years old and my brother and I where really scared!!! My dad ended up changing places with us mid ride so he ended up at the far left exactly where the shark jumps when its dead and my dad was so shocked at the jump that he crushed both my brother and me!! Amazing memories!! You will be missed Jaws! Cool video man! Really emotional!! Cheers!
A year later & I still lose it watching this :'( I still believe ours to be the true "final voyage" because we were simply there & the final ones in the queue. I love watching this back & see them asking for a party of two & all of use were like "no way we want to be only the final boat" I remember counting how many people were behind me to see that we really were going to be the last boat. I'll have to say Hi to Jessica when I'm at the park tomorrow if shes working
I just stumbled across your video while looking for any videos on the final voyage of the JAWS ride at Universal Orlando. if you watch the end of the video with Skip's boat unloading the front row (as you look at the video) on the left (drivers side if it were a car) in a grey hoodie with a video camera is ME. I appreciate you uploading this and though I have a lot more to tell I'm running out of characters space. would love if you hit me up. facebook.com/universaldude06. -David (Universal Dude)
I miss the Culture Room, I saw a lot of good shows there back in the late 90's and early 2000's including Krisiun, Immolation in 2000 and they played their entire album 'Close to a World Below' and that show kicked ass... \m/\m/
Dude your camera and vantage point was awesome. I've been scouring youtube videos of that event, I was there, but I saw the sea of cameras from the people on the floor, glad you uploaded yours and your camera is clear.
