How is muffin doing now after 2 years ? My cat was diagnosed with wet fip and we started treatment with Remdesivir as we wait for GS to arrive in a few days and then we will switch.

I just got my injections for my little guy gonna give him hus first injection. We used FIP Facebook and found an admin near me. It's alot of information but they are very helpful. Looking forward to having a lil bub back.
@muffinandcookiecat just g's 144.... You injected only g's 144...at your home...and what about fluid removal...vet remove that once or injection can do that work too?
I just lost my shelter kitten also , I had her 8 weeks so very attached , she had wet FIP stomach so bloated spent 1800.00 at vet they tried but she just passed Friday. I miss her and fell in love with her at first site, she slept with me was on my lap always and my 75 lb lad border collie was her best friend . I'm devastated. FIP is a horrible death sentence. It was just too late for my baby girl.
My little LION has positive FIP. Treatment is in progress, today was second dose out of 40 of remdesivir I.V injection remdesivir has excellent success rate against FIP please pray for us for successful treatment.
We had a very similar story with our cat Misty and decided to try and help him with GS. It worked great and he is still with us, doing great a full year after! 😊 Congrats to Muffin! 🎉
My kitty is now on GS treatment. We had to restart the regime when the vet we went to only put her on 5 days GS + other medications. Now it's on Day 6 after we restarted. Yes, it's mentally & emotionally challenge having to inject her daily. She has lost her appetite and losing weight, hence losing her energy. How do I get her to eat something? I forced feed her but at times she'll gagged. We hv to send her to the vet every 4,5 days to drain the fluid from her lung as she is having difficulty. She's FIP wet and it's her lung that's filling with liquid instead of abdomen. 😭
Yay Muffin! And thank you for giving her a chance. That treatment is legit and without it FIP is effectively always fatal. We lost 2 cats to FIP before this treatment was an option. If we ever have to deal with it again you can bet we're trying this treatment. Prices have also came down a fair bit since this video was posted. We had a cat we thought may have FIP (it didn't) but we were getting set up to get the meds if need be. And it's down to about $800 now for pills. Which if your cat is healthy enough to still have an appetite are much easier both on you and the cat.
My cat was diagnosed today and we are devastated. I have joined the group and I’m waiting to hear back about starting the treatment. My cat is my everything and I will try whatever it takes. Thank you for giving me hope
Guys, please help! Today our vet said the medicine is no longer available. My cat has only received half of the required GS-441524 injections. I don't even know what to do now. Please, please share information on where to buy GS-441524. I am from Latvia, so it would be good if the medicine could be bought in Europe or if it could be delivered to Europe. 🙏🙏🙏
I had to bring my cat to the emergency clinic we have put him down, the vet said was with no hope , everything went so fast we put him down, i am so angry i just found out about fip, à week to late i am so angry and the sadness, this needs to be sensibilation done to vet they dont know about this, she explain that it was à lost case, she did not know about this, its too late for my baby but not for other cat 😢😢😢
Sorry to hear this...I am surprised to hear that vets don't know about the treatment. Most are aware of it. I would change vets and never go back to this one.
My cat is diagnosed with FIPv and she will die because here in Algeria it’s difficult to buy traitement from other countries I have the money to buy it but not the resources so I’m sad and I’m scared for my other 8 cats to be contract the virus from her too so I will make them to adoption but here in Algeria they hate street cats I’m lost what to do if I continue without a solution for them I will kill my self and have some peace

Update: Muffin is still doing well. However, the FIP Warriors are not the best option for the meds anymore. FIP Global cats offers better support and is more transparent: facebook.com/groups/fipglobalcats/
a year ago that was fipwarriors then i am guessing... so you prob have no experience with global and the way they source meds.... I have heard plenty that will definitely put me off global and their trials on other ppls cats.... btw happy to hear your kitty is doing so well :)
The same thing happened with my Pisty. i started her on Mutian and within 5 days, she improved so much! Fever gone in two days and in 5 days belly went down. She is doing so so good! If you want referral I will give you the contact info
I successfully treated my (at the time of diagnosis) 4 month old foster kitten for FIP. He rocked treatment and passed all his blood tests and now 3 weeks into his observation period! Gunther had very typical, uncomplicated wet abdominal FIP. Within days, his belly was reducing, eating better, and his high cycling fevers stopped. I used FIP warriors 5.0 and my admin helped me through changes in dosage as he gained his health back and began to grow again , adjusted dosage when his fever returned after a week of treatment. The bigger dose did the trick and he was a little better every day but the MAJOR changes in how he acted and felt were noticeable in days. My rescue organization sourced the GS for me and paid for it but their vet couldn't guide me regarding the GS treatment but rxed pain meds, vitamins, all his blood tests, treatment for sores and anything else I needed. My FIP warrior admin helped with dose, tips and tricks, best practices, trouble shooting, fielded my many questions, evaluated blood work results, helped with the transition to pills, and was a great source of comfort. I now belong to another Facebook group called FIP Global Cats. They allow open discussions unlike the warriors group where you were not allowed to post anything but post once about your cat and say if they are diagnosed or just suspected. All discussion had to be in private messanger. There was drama when it came out that some of the warrior admins where over charging for meds and keeping the extra money. I don't have an issue with an admin making a commission of sorts on meds and supplies purchased through their links. The job is volunteer and it is hard and taxing work. Just don't be greety. The global group is made of the warriors admins that didn't agree to over charge scared families and keeping the extra. For ethical reasons, the new group was made. The ability to access the other members of the group for open discussions with other parents and admins alike is worth everything. Oh also, as soon as our foster kitten finished his 84 days of meds and entered the observation period, we adopted him. ❤
Good work. I know a few of the warriors....some of them are downright spiteful and they won't help unless they have full control. Glad there is a different group.
I want to extend them some grace. They would have at least started with good intention I think. I was lucky I had so much support from my rescue and my admin did enough and was still willing to help with dosage. The new group at least allowed discussion. The pet parents are desperate for help. I am happy to say our boy is thriving. Grown into a silly, somethings too playful adult. At this point cured. He had no chance before and now here he is. Sleek coat, bright eyes and living his best life. He loves playing foster brother to our other foster kittens. Such a miracle.

Hi there, so sorry for our extremely late reply. I really hope you were able to sort this with your admin group and they helped you to get the medicine.
Im in week 7th of the treatment with my 8th months old kittie and he is doing great. My vet also helps me with the injections, coming to the clinic even on sundays! He is the best vet ever and im so glad i found him. The treatments costs 2000euros, plus 1000 euros the diagnostic because my kitty has dry neurologic fip and they had to do a CT scan and cranial fluid analisis to get the diagnosis right. I save 30 euros a day every day to be able to pay the vet bill and i dont regret it at all. Hope this treatments gets aproved and distributed to all countries so the rest of the vet clinics can save our beloved pets.
Can there really be such a cute tiny thing? Now I must watch this video many times. I guess the little darling just announces there is nobody cuddling, massaging, and playing with her (or him).
