That does look ridiculous... but to each their own... Reminds me of what they used to do to mustangs in the early 90s.. it didn't look good then either..lol
Great review, purchased the same catch can but the hose lines came pre-installed on the wrong side of the catch can. Had quite the time trying to remove it (unsuccessfully). Should be getting another one here this week to actually route the lines correctly.
Not sure on the measurement but basically just measuring from the bottom of your stock intake port on the grill to the top of the grill. I’m guessing at least 6-8 inches. I can try to get you an accurate measurement later today.
It has held up great. Pretty durable against rocks, debris, etc. I traded the truck last October but know the new owner and it’s still doing great. Considered putting this on my new limited.
As said by others it looks really clean, but, it doesn’t feel right in there. Plus IMO a touch screen is very distracting when you need to take your eyes off the road to read what function you want. Give me analog any day of the week in any car so I can intuitively adjust my controls by feel. I think these touch screens are PART of the problem of distracted driving.
The best thing about it is all my heat/ac have hard buttons and I have hard buttons on the steering wheel for audio stuff and answering calls. Not much of a distraction when you still have physical buttons for everything you need.
@@str8speed919 That’s what I mean about analog. I have a 2005 there were no steering wheel controls. Then again most of the time I don’t even have the radio on!🤪
There are more customizations on app, for example long press phone and slide it onto centre ( clock, or compass what ever it is) and you will see new plus (+) icons, you can put another apps by clicking plus (+) area
I want this for vanity. Switching out a cai really doesn’t help much in hp gains. Honestly my goal is to put a custom bracket where the old cai was for a dual battery setup.
Hey, I just got around to putting the Knightdrive unit in my 13 c6 I replaced the rears and door uppers to jl audio left the factory subwoofers in the doors. I lost 80% of bass and For the life of me I cannot get it back. I was wondering what you set all your audio to. " hpf lpf and bass boost. Including your equalizer. Thank you Martin Ehrlich
I know this is an older video, but it came in handy. I have a Rebel GT and has the same air cleaner as in your truck. This video will make the installation of my CC much simpler.
You should of left off the old cover when installing the ram air intake…plus you don’t have your cover installed correctly….you can see the cracks where the cover snaps in…
Any problems with the TPMS sensors fitment? I have the same factory wheels 18s front and 19s rear, and will be installing 2019 oem zr1 wheels 19s front 20s rear. If any issues let us know down below thanks.
what rear mat is that. it looks nice. did you keep the chimes and stuff with the radio. I had to get that add in thing to keep mine when I put my aftermarket in. is that able to be done with this?
I don’t have the chimes on mine. They have a speaker for those wanting it. Here are the floor mats. www.manicci.com/product/manicci-luxury-custom-fitted-car-mats-black-with-blue-diamond/
thanks for the reply. this radio is hard to find info on how it's working. like can you record the camera video to a SD car? like without the dash cam could you record all 3 at once?
Another great video. Thanks for sharing. Nice to know these added features are available. The OBD2 scanner is a bit more expensive than I thought it would be while watching your video but is a great tool to have the performance and trouble-code monitoring active all the time. Nice job.
