This is a beautiful boat in this video. Man, I always wanted a CD22. With dreams of trailering it around the US so I could do some coastal and inland sailing wherever I yearned to go. Over the years I went from a Catalina 22 to a Cape Dory Typhoon Weekender and finally to a 33ft Pearson Vanguard. But, my eye (and heart) was always on the lookout for a Cape Dory 22. Just seems the perfect boat for someone who prefers full keel boats with character. Lost the Pearson in a storm. But retired now, so maybe I’ll have one last fling at really living and earnestly look for a nice CD22 again. Always been perplexed why they stopped making one of the best line of sailboats. What sailor wouldn’t want a Cape Dory? Fair winds.

It's a shame Cape Dory is no longer making boats! Some of the best sailing boats ever made💯 Thankfully you can still find them as they hold up well to the sea💯

Totally ignores the more populated area including the Yacht Club and the majority of the homes where the "Kennedy Compound" is intermixed. Quite misleading.
Just a lovely boat. I felt like I was aboard. Reminded me so much of my S&S designed Sailmaster 22 vintage 1968. Spent my vacations aboard cruising the Maine coast. Thanks for the memories!!
Tonic for a winter's afternoon dreaming of summer coming once again. With thanks from a skipper who came ever so close to getting hands on a CD22 a while ago and lost it. I'm hoping lightning strikes twice.
Digital Imaging of Cape Cod Thanks for your reply. How long have you had this boat? The one I looked at had the same gel coat crazing issue at the cabin house fore peak. This year would be a pinch to get a boat but next year should improve things if we can get past this crisis we’re in presently. Thanks.
@@Capecodvideo I finally got a CD22! I'm down on Long Island and am so much looking forward to sailing her. She has the grommets on deck for a dodger, but no frame or canvas. Can you tell me how much a dodger for a small boat like this costs?
This is AWESOME! - grew up going to nantucket in the 80s and 90s - my grandparents place sold a number of years back - my fantasy is to sail back to the islands with my kids to give them the cape and islands experience
