Simple, Robust products made for enjoying the outdoors. And they've weathered the ups and downs of manufacturing (especially given being in Australia). Very inspiring. I particularly enjoyed this because Luke didn't sound like he was presenting - just answering naturally. Some real gems there whilst peaking behind the curtain. Cheers.
From talking to the park staff and a couple of others there, You won't even get in there on a good weather weekend. Park guy said there could be a thousand cars in there. They already there mate.
The brown lizard looks like a land mullet. The rock with the hole in it looks like the sort of thing desert Aboriginals use for collecting water. A small rock is placed over the hole, in a way that allows water to drip into the hole. This usually works at night, as the air cools and water condenses on the rock. The Bluff and Wild Bull are great places. We've cleaned up other spots nearby, to the tune of a couple of bin bags full. We called Parks and Wildlife, who got on the job to remove the rest, pretty quickly.
@@YANKandCLOVER-discover-AUS this is the better half of @epicridesandtours, the lizard is a land mullet.😁 I love the video even though we are locals its great to be reminded how lucky we are to have such a great backyard.
------ TIME IS UP !! John 3:16 For God loved the world, so He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Realise you are a SINNER ! You can NOT earn your way into heaven ! JESUS is the ONLY way to Salvation ! Call upon the name of JESUS to Save you ! BELIEVE that JESUS came in the flesh, lived a sinless life and then died on a CROSS ! TRUST that God raised JESUS from the dead ! By FAITH accept the shed BLOOD of JESUS ALONE as payment for YOUR SINS ! God is about to pour out JUDGEMENT on the world for 7 terrible years. Only true Christians will suddenly vanish and escape this punishment. Aliens are a LIE ! May the LORD soften your hearts. Accept this GOSPEL now, the Good News of JESUS CHRIST.
I have done quite a bit of solo bush walking & fishing in remote locations over the last 50 years or so. When I was younger, I didn't consider 1st aid much, but some close calls brought me to the following conclusion. At minimum, carry on your person at all times, 2 elastic bandages & a PLB. This will have you minimally covered for handling a venomous snake bite. It is no good having 1st aid back in your car at the campsite. Any 1st aid that is out of reach is the same as no 1st aid at all. Also, you cannot rely on a mobile phone or CB, especially not in a gully. You cannot rely on your own car, because getting to it and driving it is going to pump venom around your body, undoing all 1st aid efforts. The patient must remain calm & still. The only sure way to get your patient & medical aid to coincide is a PLB, without it your 1st aid strategy has already failed.
LOL, we do like our coffee Kevin. We purchased a Rok manual espresso coffee machine so if we have no power for whatever reason, we still have wonderful real coffee. Only started our channel about a year ago. Kudos mate :) www.rok.coffee/
I buy single roll toilet paper all the time they r 1000 sheets which works out cheaper an they r better for septic tanks. Delsey toilet paper Grown their own trees.
What, and not a mention of the ones leaving baby nappies in the forest? Or the live trees chopped down near camp? Or the metal tent stake driven into a tree? But I'm the bad guy LOL Try and have a nice day mate :)
Nice video, makes you angry when human animals leave there rubbish everywhere, makes you lose hope. At any rate, looked like a really nice place. Haven't been camping in decades, this year might be the year. Thanks for the video. Subscribed too ;)
Yea, we usually pick up a bit of rubbish everywhere we go. One place there was so much, it was an impossible task after filling a 20 litre bucket load of glass and plastic bottles. This place was surprisingly clean of rubbish. And thanks for the nice video comment, kudos mate :)
Surface Shield, Fluid Film Or Woolwax.............oil not paint. Rust still exists under the paint. Oil soaks into the rust cuts of the oxygen. Much easier to apply the oil products also. :)
@@YANKandCLOVER-discover-AUS Rust converter is just in way of fluid film or cosmoline doing its job. Google "10 year of using cold galvanizing compound" and "Planing to go south to replace Bed, bumpers etc.".
@@zell863 It sounds like very good stuff. Bit of research, it's very expensive here in Aus, 6 cans over 600 dollars. The job I did with rust converting and paint is still holding up without any rust whatsoever and only cost me about 30 dollars. Thanks for the heads up, will look into it a bit further if the need arises.
@@YANKandCLOVER-discover-AUS Every heavy duty corrosion spray is cosmoline. Most popular and cheapest is CRC HD marine, and there are many others. Crown 6013 I think, than Amsoil HD. I sprayed with a few of them and they all smell and look same. Just different names for same thing.
Where you from in America? My wife’s American she from Florida we live in Maclean and actually there a few Americans that live here I’ve been here almost 13 years from Sydney I will never leave this area
How bout that! Loved Maclean. I came over in 81 from Colorado, worked Sydney for over 15 years before settling here near Forster. Say hi to the missus? :)
Nice job, looks good mate. I dont know if it makes much difference or not, but if you run the flooring carpet from side to side rather than front to back, would that make it easier for blowing out sand etc?
Quick tip for anyone planning on Northern or Far Northern Queensland trips. Seal the ply completely. Tung oil, Flooring finish, estapol, etc. Carpet (if you must) after sealing. Wait for seal to dry completely. Edit; wouldn't hurt to paint the 2×4's either, especially the ends.
