Yeah I agree, I wish there was more makeup rather than just broad category of beauty products. It was fun for a bit and overall I enjoyed, but I think a break is good. We'll see if I ever come back to it in the future
I completely forgot a quick visit to London in book #31 The Ringmaster's Secret on the international map, and a quick trip to Los Angeles in book #36 The Secret of the Golden Pavilion on the US map. I really hope you do this as well as your favourite and least favourite books when you get to the Hardy Boys books also how did you do this I’d like to try this when I’m done with my Judy Bolton books and Nancy and Hardy and other series as well

I was actually THE MOST excited for the brow palettes. I use powder to fill my brows everyday and to see a brow palette with beautiful packaging made me so happy!

the second I heard julie PLAGUE was going to be in charge of this show, i knew it was going to be terrible and i was right. god, did it take me AGES to complete this dumpsfire show and that is hours I'll never get back. it was terrible, and it felt nothing like VA , its like she made characters of her own and slapped the names on them and called it a day and baited all the fans. this is not even close to what VA should have been, but again im not surprised. julie plague cant write, she's an absloute imbecile, and after the mess that became TVD after season 3, im surprised she still get shows to do. also where has this video been all my life? <3
Glad to know other people agree with some of my takes on this adaptation! I think obviously the fact that the show was cancelled after season one really proves a lot of the points I made in this video as well... Sad it was the outcome, but absolutely not surprised in the least
@@LaurenLex its so telling, and I was not surprised at all either that it was cancelled because I think many stop watching halfway and they probably lost a lot of viewership. or that most book fans probably made it known they would not watch a second season. to be honest this is the fate most adaptions have when you piss off an entire fanbase, and I always say don't underestimate the book fanbase LOL
If you want your candle to last longer just throw it on a mug warmer and it will become a large tart warmer that you can use for a long time until the scent finally fades. 🙂
I got this set back in December and I agree a lot with this. But, my eyeliners didn’t end up as dark. Also, my highlighter puff doesn’t have much product but I’ve seen people get some with a really nice amount. Idk, just sharing my experience :) love this review!

Ehe..I did drop 800 dollar on the full box, even though I wasnt over the moon for this collection... But how can one skip this box when it was this amazing? It just made me think of Sailor Moon so I really had no choise. Huh, I also got the Angel gift box even though I had redeemed a Fairy gift box... I wonder if they hadnt gotten the giftboxes yet so they substituted the boxes with the Angel ones? I did get a giftcard for the issue though. Dunno if I dare ordering one at the moment if they still got issues with sending the right ones. Im also still waiting for the perfumes...and any missing items that wasnt in this box...I was missing one of the puffs, stickers and a hairclip...but they are probably in the perfume box... I just wonder where the box is now, last I saw an update, it was in Amsterdam. But the tracking dont always track...
Oh I am so jelly! That pink dresser box is on my mind 24/7 lol. I also contacted customer service about the wrong gift box sent, and they also gave me $20.00 giftcard, so I'm happy to have to resolved. I just ordered the giftbox and luckily their summer sale is going on now, so it all worked out. My perfumes just arrived so I will be doing a part 2 reviewing those soon! Hopefully your other items are in with the perfume shipment
i love the way you did your eyeshadow with the palette!! i got that one too but haven't used it yet, and now i'm really excited to! green is my favorite color so i've been loving all of the green in this collection 💚 i had the same mixup with the gift box and emailed customer service, and they gave me a credit to get the correct one for free (i also got a free mirror with how large my order was, so maybe you were one item away or something?) so i'd say definitely email them and ask! i'm excited to hear your review of the perfumes!! mine should be delivered any day now too!
Yes, it appears I got ahead of myself and missed the 7th item purchase for the mirror lol. And customer service helped me out with the wrong gift box so I'm thankful for that. Perfumes have arrived and I will be doing a part 2 very soon! I will also have a bonus video ranking and comparing ALL of my FK perfume collection, so that should be fun too!
If you check out my most recent Flower Knows Midsummer Fairytales collection video, I mention their newest blush in that video that would be great for medium to deep skin tones if you like bright pink blush tones. The newest one is called Dreaming Butterfly from Midsummer Fairytales (linked in the newest video), and the one from this collection called Little Cranberry from Violet Strawberry Rococo are the two best options I have seen thus far from them. Definitely worth looking into if those types of colors appeal to you. :)
I'm with ya on the celery. Can only stand it if it's finely chopped and boiled to nothing XD I am not a huge soup person either but sometimes I"ll make batches and freeze them in mason jars so I have something to grab for work when I didn't cook the night before. Love these recipe videos! ^^
Lol good to know someone else gets me with the celery! I was surprised how it didn't bother me much in the soup, but like you said, boiled to nothing really improves it for me haha
Absolutely! I plan on covering all 175 and maybe even some of the original text versions of the first 34. I'm taking just a few weeks off to give myself a little rest and I should be back to reviewing in a few weeks :)
Password to larkspur lane is my favourite Nancy Drew book both the original and rewrite I’m glad they didn’t change any of the last few chapters in the rewrite because that’s the best part Walter Karig definitely went out with a bang with the last Nancy book he wrote
I know, such a truly great ND book! I am so excited to go back and read the original version when I finish the whole series. I plan on reading a lot of the original texts so it will be fun when I finally get there!
I love the idea of Bath and Body Works. I love the themes, the nostalgia, and the cuteness. I just cannot handle the chemical smell though. Love watching you enjoy though!

I swear it’s been like mad makeup scientist mode because they’re so pretty and I want/need them to stay on better. After trying different setting sprays and primers, the one product I found that worked best was NYX Glitter Glue primer. I think it’s like $7 at Ulta. It just stayed on the best with the NYX. I also tried some of the designer brand setting spray and primers. The NYX worked well for me, anyway. Plus I have oily skin, ugh. I hope you and others find this helpful and you keep making your amazing videos/tutorials!

Great video! I saw these on Ulta”s website and they did look stunning. I’ve recently become obsessed with holographic eyeshadows and they surprisingly looked as pretty in store as they did online. I helped myself to 4 of them 2 days ago, I’m pretty sure they only had 4 colors available. A few things, I’m glad you mentioned the separation issue. I noticed that when I was playing with them at home, to me it seemed pretty oily. It was weird so I did like you and shook it and I think that helped a bit. Also, like you said that you wanted to love these but you felt let down. Girl, we’re in the same boat 😩 I did some experimenting because I REALLY want these to work and I tried a few different things. First, shaking them helped. Second, I tried hand swatches with different primers. I tried Pat McGrath Labs Intensifeyes which helped more then I sprayed my O/S On “Til Dawn setting spray by Patrick Starrr because it’s a really great product that lives up to the hype and between those two things I found that On “Til Dawn definitely made a difference. The intensifeyes worked too but just not as well. So i plan on playing some more and seeing if my NYX glitter glue primer helps and also my Urban Decay All Nighter and I also might try my Too Faced Hangover setting spray. They really are beautiful colors and I really want them to work. Also, I liked how you showed the colors in different lighting conditions. I’ve definitely just subscribed to you. Same! Love them when swatched in store, but you have to apply a thick layer on your lid and after 20 min they are cracking and creasing. I have other duo chromes that are just as beautiful that don't do that so I plan to return these and I may try the fractal ones. I love a lot of the about face eye shadow sticks and matte paints. I use them as eye shadow bases.
