Seems too many moving parts, somewhat disorganized, too much emphasis on the Celebrant, the music is boring, too many 'chefs in the kitchen' (Sanctuary) and no one understands what's being said! I was brought up and was an altar server under the TLM. I prefer the Novus Ordo, as long as it is done reverently and done in accordance with the Roman Rite code, which is exactly what happens at my Blessed Sacrament parish, in Sacramento, CA!
Here are the words of Pope Pius XII: Pope Pius XII, Sacro Vergente Anno (Apostolic Letter), July 7, 1952: “…just as a few years ago We consecrated the entire human race to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, so today We consecrate and in a most special manner We entrust all the peoples of Russia to this Immaculate Heart…” Thus, it is an undeniable fact that Pope Pius XII specifically consecrated Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. But didn’t Our Lady promise that Russia would be consecrated in union with all the bishops of the world? No! This is a key point. Our Lady requested that Russia be consecrated in union with all the bishops of the world, but on July 13 she only promised that “In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and it will be converted and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world.” Notice that Our Lady didn’t promise: “The Holy Father and all the bishops will consecrate Russia to me…” Further, heaven revealed that the actual fulfillment of the consecration of Russia would not be fully in accord with heaven’s original wishes; for instance, it would be “late” -- Our Lady: “The war is going to end. But if they do not stop offending God, another and worse war will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light, know that it is a great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its crimes by means of war, of hunger, and of persecution of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this I come to ask the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of reparation on the first Saturdays. If they listen to my requests, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not she will scatter her errors through the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and it will be converted and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world.” Notice, the consecration of Russia was specifically requested to prevent “war… hunger and persecution of the Church…” This shows us that Our Lady’s words on the consecration of Russia were firmly set within this context - i.e. converting this enemy to peace from these persecutions of “war… hunger… of the Church.” This point is corroborated when one considers the “great sign” mentioned by Our Lady in the context of her request for the consecration of Russia. Our Lady says: “When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light, know that it is a great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its crimes by means of war, of hunger, and of persecution of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this…” This “sign” was not some “small sign,” but the “great sign” that heaven gave in the context of the consecration of Russia and the punishments the consecration of Russia would prevent. Well, everyone knows that this “great sign” was the unknown light that lit up the sky on Jan. 25, 1938, just prior to the events that precipitated World War II. “An aurora borealis of exceptional size furrowed the sky of Western Europe last night; it caused an uproar in a number of departments, which at first believed it to be a gigantic fire. In the entire region of the Alps, the population was much intrigued by this strange spectacle. The sky was ablaze like an immense moving furnace, provoking a very strong blood-red glow.” (Le Nouvelliste de Lyon, Jan. 26, 1938.) I think that most people can agree that this sign doesn’t seem that significant to us from our vantage point today. Yet, within the context of the consecration of Russia, and the “war… hunger… and persecution of the Church…” which it was requested to prevent, this was the “great sign” that heaven gave. This shows us again how firmly within this specific context Our Lady’s words for the consecration of Russia were: converting this enemy to peace from its persecutions of war, persecutions of the Church, etc.
what bout the family he made or the kids he adopted and that same family he lived with for 16 years and gave him a loving home and kids he treated like his own. the family that took him in and was with him in his final days the family that took care of him when he started getting really sick and couldn’t take care of him self anymore?
On Feast of St. John Chrysostom I hear Bp. Pfeiffer for the first time: he exhorts us NOT to compromise with the modern Vatican II-supporting church & its leaders that have betrayed Our Lord, His true Catholic Church and Its teachings. He preaches UNyielding loyalty to Our Lord and the Catholic Church that is >faithful to Him< which makes NO ALLOWANCE for any false teachings. Doctor of the Church St. John Chrysostom would strongly agree. After all, he explained St. Paul's words which state: >>> So then, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word, or by Epistle of ours. [2 Thess. 2:15] <<< Following up on this epistle, the Doctor of the Church teaches with these words: >>> Hence it is manifest, that they did not deliver all things by Epistle, but many things also unwritten, and in like manner both the one and the other are worthy of credit. *Therefore let us think the tradition of the Church also worthy of credit. It is a tradition, seek no farther.* [bold text, my emphasis] -St. John Chrysostom, Homilies on Second Thessalonians, No. 4 How many bishops, priests and lay people instead hold that Sacred Tradition, Liturgy, Sacraments and even >De Fide< defined Church teachings handed down do not have to be followed nowadays; as if God could make UN-Holy and UN-Infallible and UN-Immoral what He has declared, defined and solemnly taught to be so through His Church! Lord HAVE mercy. Personally, I disagree with Bishop Pfeiffer on one serious point: >he states flat out that Pope Benedict XVI is in hell.< In speaking thus, he's claiming knowledge and authority to declare on the eternal fate of an individual soul. Even with popes in the past who committed multiple grave and public sins >the Church did NOT declare that they were condemned to hell-that they were in fact IN hell. It's one thing to state that >objectively< specific actions are a mortal sin. However, it's something entirely different to declare or pronounce on that >subjectively< an individual person has been condemned by God. With due respect, I advise Bishop Pfeiffer to reconsider such statements, and if it could be a serious sin to be publicly making such a declaration about any individual person, incl., specifically Benedict XVI mentioned in this sermon. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on us. Immaculate Heart of Mary pray for us. St. Joseph, Patron of the Church pray for us.
I met "Bishop" Joseph Pfeiffer in February, 2022 when I was working at BDUBS. My priest told me about him. He's not a Bishop! He left the Catholic Church, and like Martin Luther, he claims to be Catholic! He's a heretic who can't trust Jesus when He said "the gates of Hell will not prevail against it (His Church.)" Pfeiffer lies when he's says he's a Catholic, a priest cannot ordain himself. Pfheiffer, I'll tell you what God told me in my conversion to the Catholic Church (from Protestantism) "Trust me with my Church!" Meaning trust that he will sustain the truth of His Church. You are a Protestant. You need to repent and publicly denounce your heresies. You are misleading yourself and others! This is grave matter and is damnable. You will be held more accountable than they will because you are their leader. You have no right to decide what is truth, only God does! He did not put you in charge to reveal the truth to the Church as a Bishop. Adding and taking away from doctrine is forbidden! Also God does not want division, which is what you're causing. It take humility to be a good Catholic and to accept the truth.
