I started by doing 3 beats a day until i got my first 10k views , then reviewed all my analytics & picked the best post times/tags/description/thumbnail/title .. ive found letting the beat drop at the 11-21 second mark is the sweet spot for intro & dont make the beat longer than 2:48
Hey I got a question. So I followed the same format as you did for setting up the campaign journey. Was wondering If I typed in the Tags, it would be the same as how you had the tags already saved? I'm assuming it's because you've already collected those SALES and FREE DOWNLOAD tags already. Thanks for the vid.
Post your beats on RU-vid and beatstars as normal, then export the melodies from your beats seperately and start gathering an email list of producers to send out weekly’s to. Discord is a great place for networking as well as IG
I started gain some pretty good traction but then I changed the style of my thumbnails and I think that’s what killed my views . Went from about 2k views a day to now like 200. I’m going back to the style that was working for me before and hopefully that will help
@@LetoBeats ya the glowing purple figures but I changed the style of the figures and that's what I think hurt the view count, going to try a few different things in the next months and see what does better .
Keep in mind we’re just now leaving the slowest time of the year for beat sales and all of e commerce. My views went down like crazy too so it’s not just you, legit went from 20k a day down to 2k a day at its lowest. Starting to climb up again though so just keep posting and don’t give up, this is normal for this time of the year
Do you think it matters how long a beat is? Like would it make sense to cut the second verse and third chorus of an 3:00 Beat to get it to like 2:00 minutes
Yeah what you could do is post a shorter 2 minute version of the beat on RU-vid and post a full 3 minute version on beatstars. The shorter the beat the easier it will be to get to that 50% retention mark
hell yea i been watchin kontrol and cyfals content tryna learn this game. 13 years of producing rapping and mixing and now im goin all in on production yeeee lesgetit
You’ve got this bro no doubt, just lock in as much as possible and stay consistent for a long enough period and you’ll get it. It’s genuinely so tough at first to accept having no views but I just had to look at the small wins and manifest what my future could look like
shouldve mentioned this is all in the context of being a type beat producer lol. i make these in the context of what is going to perform well for sales.
bro i checked your gunna channel, and it looks like you had to blur some of the videos? So maybe its not the best to add music videos, and just keep it simple with JPG... whats your updated thought about it? What was the reason for the blur, if u kept it like 5 sec loop so it shouldnt be copyrighted
Yep I should’ve elaborated more but I was an idiot when I started and just ripped the videos from other peoples type beats so RU-vid flagged it for stealing content obviously. I’ve made my own videos now though so those won’t be an issue
Hi bro, last week I changed my tags and started posting also g herbo type beats in addition to meek mill type beats and the views of my channel have decreased, do you think I should put the tags back as before or wait a bit of time to see if my algorithm works fits my tags?
It’s a possibility if you have the tags right that it’ll get back to the right audience but it would probably take 1-2 weeks. Switching to meek mill would eventually work but might take a bit longer
You can do it with convertkit. There’s a lot more manual setup on the backend though. Way easier to do it with the platforms that are already integrated with beatstars
I haven’t done it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good way to get attention. That being said, I think you’ll have to be creative with how you showcase the beat. Because let’s be honest, most of us get on shorts and TikTok just to rot our brains lol, not necessarily to buy products
Solid advice, I'm in the Heate Group too but haven't started on the Email course yet. How much do you pay monthly for Zapier and Convertkit? Or can you get away with using the free versions of those email marketing tools?
I just checked your channel, you look like your pretty good! just need to get your claps and snares to pop thru a little more and hit a bit harder. Your on the right path for sure, keep on it mate
So if you have your Mailchimp account connected to beatstars through the integrations tab in beatstars studio they will automatically tag all your customers based off of how you obtain their email
Great video! but won't it look spammy or repetitive to always cicle the same emails weekly? thank you for helping the community btw. Also, when you unsubscribe someone from your email list do you still keep it as a contact? because you'll end up paying for contacts you're not even sending emails to... or do mailchimp not count them as contacts so you dont pay for them?
I believe the contacts only count for the people that are subscribed, I haven’t ran into that yet because my email list is only like 1K right now but once I figure that out I will let you know
And you can always change your weekly emails once it’s running so i definitely would switch it up. A good strategy is to nurture the customer just by asking questions about their music journey and then put them into a sales campaign once you’ve kind of teased it. Something like “I’ve got something special coming your way”. Some of that sounds corny but you’ve gotta make sure your emails are easy to understand because of all your customers from overseas.
