Hi, I'm Vee - Aussie lawyer & mum of boys sharing styling tips and outfit inspiration to help you curate a considered wardrobe of classics. I post one video per week.
Thank you so much for visiting my channel and I hope you enjoy my videos!
D U P B A G Y as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison. For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the
Thanks for your honest review! The silk skirt does look quite chic and elegant on you. I recently visited Goelia's store in Sydney after seeing numerous influencer videos on RU-vid. I'm afraid the videos - often featuring their exquisite silk and cashmere pieces - do not reflect their overall quality and style. Apart from a few silk and cashmere pieces, most of the items I saw were thin polyester fabrics with very small cuts that didn’t fit well (and I'm XS Asian figure). I wish they would consider allocating some of their budget spent on influencer marketing towards improving the design and quality.
what size is your Wittner flats and what size is your Ally shoes? I often buy from Wittner so I really needs reference size as I cant decide the size with Ally and the prices are not cheap if they dont fit. Many thanks.
The feminine dress you were unsure about looks amazing on you. So freaking pretty. ❤❤❤ you should definitely keep it. Even the color brightens your complexion, I find.
I have 2 Goelia blazer & pant sets and really like them! It ended my search for a work blazer in Sydney. The cut and colours simply fit. Maybe because I zoomed in on their petite range - which was accessible to me on pc but not my mobile.
The tops are all really nice, especially the red knit! do you think though, that maybe your denim Sezane Will jacket would also serve the same purpose as Henne's denim shirt?
I think you'd also love the Oriane top. I have this and pair it with an ivory wrap skirt. I agree with the sizing. I'm 5'2", 108lbs, 34a bust, 25.5 waist, 33 hips. I typically order size 6 tops in this brand. (And sometimes have the sleeve length hemmed:) Other favs I have are the Edie wrap knit and Livia top. Great review!
I'm so glad to have an office setting so casual that just the fact of me wearing pants makes it a special occasion, even if paired with Birkenstocks 😅 Both cool outfits though, I love your style!
You are the reason I have a new Bellroy obsession! I have the new tote/backpack that you featured in this vlog in black, and I love it! I also got the Tokyo crossbody per your recommendation, and am currently alternating between these two bags on a weekend trip in Cali to see family and they are lightweight and absolutely perfect bags for travel but I have found myself using them as my everyday bags because of all the organization and lightweight fabrics! My next work bag will definitely be a Bellroy too! Thanks for all your vlogs!
I feel they are another Lilysilk - just lots of influencer marketing but I hardly see these influencers wearing the pieces in their OOTD stories etc. It’s only ever for that one RU-vid video or the one post.
I used to do design work for Gap in their NYC corporate HQ--it's not really the "illusion of choice" between them & BR, it truly is a choice. They are run as entirely separate/different companies, each with their own CEO. Old Navy, Athleta, Gap & BR are all corporately HQ'd in SF but Gap is designed in their Tribeca office while BR & Old Navy are designed (separate of each other) in SF. I'm not even sure where Athleta is designed, they're in their own world lol. Each biz may have the same ticker symbol but they have entirely different business structures, creative direction, staff, factories, budgets, production timelines, etc. We sometimes got to see what Old Navy may be working on (at least on the outlet side of things to make sure there wasn't too much crossover) but we NEVER saw any BR product, it was just as blind to us as any other mall brand.
love the silk 2 piece and the gorgeous spot dress. I also thought the print dress looked lovely on you, on a summers day with a pair of white sneakers !
I have been so curious about this brand as it keeps popping up on my feed but had been reluctant to try as I cannot feel the fabric. Helpful comments and I have to say the surprise hit was the vest and beige dress combo! Like you I cannot unsee the pocket placement once you pointed it out! Last outfit was my favourite!
I've been seeing lot of ads for this brand. Thanks for the review. You look great. The pieces seemed underwhelming and the constant addition of ill fitting PU belts seems to make the brand seem bit cheap
The first and last outfits were my favs on you! The shorts were so beautiful, and the last black silk matching set gave the vibe of the polka dot dress, but more versatile because of being separates.
As always, thank you for the review! The brand has some interesting pieces- but buyer beware, their XL is a size 12, and XXL is 14. That's considerably smaller than US brands- usually an XL is 14/16. Definitely doesn't include the majority of US women, or even the average US woman at size 16. Something to keep in mind for curvy or mid-size women. <3
Have seen this brand everywhere on the influencer circuit and noticed they opened a store in Sydney, for the price point I think there is probably better out there and probably not as elevated you gravitate towards which we all know and love :) - a great honest review!
I think the garden party dress looks very nice and feminine on you. I am a diamond member on their tier and have a lot of their items and i really like their style and quality which is consistent with their pricing tier.
Thanks for the review. The brand does a lot of influencer sponsorship hence am very skeptical of them. However I think their items lean towards almost there in design, cut, fabric etc but not across the line worth parting with my money.
The fact that they’ve gone from zero to every influencer gives me the ick. Appreciate your skepticism and honest review. Nothing has grabbed me enough to go and check them out. And yes, very odd pocket placement 😂
Rock studs are not comfortable for me. My sweaty feet had me sliding down into the point and then killed my toes. Louboutin 100mm pagalle is the most comfortable. I can run in them. But you do need to try on many pairs because they are hand made and they all fit differently even in the same size. I don’t see people wear them because flats are in. But I will forever wear heels. Don’t sell them. I kind of display them like decor.
